We are optimistic on Aptos, therefore we want to decentralize Aptos.

Aptos uses a new consensus protocol that boasts exceptional performance. Move is the programming language with the most potential to create an ecosystem that is comparable to, or even better than, Solidity. From the standpoint of programming languages, Move does have some advantages in enhancing performance and code security.

There are already too many articles on Aptos, therefore we won't go into detail about its advantages.

However, Aptos' issue is equally evident.  As of today, it has become abundantly evident that Silicon Valley's "white elites" are at the center of Aptos, including investment, team, and ecosystem, which makes Aptos one of the most centralized project in the blockchain industry.

We hardly ever see non-white faces in the team, key investors, or even ecosystem of Aptos (although there is Chinese employed in the Aptos team).

I think the Chinese and Vietnamese teams that moved from the Solana to Aptos have a thorough experience.

In order to properly utilize Aptos' technology with respect, we propose to totally decentralize the project's management and operation. We think that Daptos' operation can, on the one hand, actually help the vast majority of people; on the other side, Daptos can have a positive impact on Aptos' natural ecosystem. Daptos is the D(ecentralized) Aptos.

Until now, everyone should understand where Daptos is located. Daptos is the decentralized pre-production network of Aptos, just like what Kusama is to Polkadot. Developers are welcome to work on and test on Daptos. We have prepared sufficient incentives for developers.

Daptos will maintain a total decentralization, and neither the team nor the investors own Daptos token. Token will be airdropped to early donors and distributed to node operators and developers.

We believe that such a decentralization strategy can truly help the ecosystem.
