Who are you, and what is your software development background? Iβm Davide, a 29 years old Italian software developer who has already been 10 years into the code, currently working in a startup in the Industry 4.0 field but with the desire to make the shift to Web3 to help build the future of the web, the web of the people.
Why did you want to complete this lesson? I want to complete this lesson to put another block (we love blocks π) on my foundations as a web3 developer.
When did you complete the project? I completed the project on the 26th of October when I deployed a new version of the contract with the soltuion on the challenge Rahat made to us.
What technologies did you use? We used Alchemy, Polygon, Hardhat, Metamask, Solidity, OpenZeppelin.
What did you enjoy about the tutorial? What I enjoyed the most was the metadata updated on-chain every time you βtrainedβ the NFT. That blew my mind. The fact the image can be generated and hence updated on-chain.
How do you think you can use this technology to build useful applications in the future? What are some specific example applications? In my opinion that could be the base structure for a game, as also Rahat said on the lesson. Other than a game use case that could be a structure for updating a single NFT on-chain over time with new data for example the traceability of a product, an avatar in the metaverse. I think Alfa Romeo did something with NFTs for the new car Tonale to trace and save data about the car, I don't know the technical decisions but that could have be done in that way.
Who would you recommend this project to? Basically every NFT developer should think about making their NFTs with on-chain metadata, you know, we love the chain we trust the chain π€.
What is the Ethereum wallet address you would like to receive your PoK at? 0xc85C67BFe8299f61Ae0D560844E19De9Ada05519
Thank you Alchemy! π
