Demether is a high yield savings app for stocks. Think of us as Acorns, but with turbo charged yield attached to every single position.

We don’t have preset portfolios, but we may have preset investment baskets in the future (do you want us to, btw? Let us know).

We allow users to select their own stocks, indices and commodities (we have a gold ETF but other options coming in future). 

This allows you to detach from unnecessary portions of the portfolio in cash, bonds and anything else you don’t feel comfortable holding. 

Cash and bonds will underperform a ripping equity market and over the past 20 years of my personal investment history (note: this is not financial advice), I’ve done my best to stay away from unproductive positions. 

It won’t always be the case that a full public equity position serves you best, of course, but we do believe that flexibility is important.

Flexibility makes us closer to a standard stock trading account or a self-invested tax wrapper. 

This makes sense to us as you - the next generation of investors - are incredibly financially savvy. Whether you’re following a tried-and-tested dollar cost averaging strategy on the S&P 500, or mixing it up with single stock investing, we’re targeting a user base that’s ever better informed.

Now, AI tools make it easy to do research, summarise news and understand complex topics, simply, at your pace and whenever convenient. 

Back then, a formal education in finance or at least a basic investing and financial statement analysis course was the true minimum. It’s no longer the case and the barriers to entry have fallen dramatically.

Our app takes advantage of exactly this new paradigm. 

We’re not Robinhood on crypto rails - we believe that’s a fast track to being competed out of the market by…er, Robinhood (which is already moving user trades on chain)! 

We’re pioneering a new area of the market that blends the benefits of decentralised finance models to deliver additional yield - above and beyond your standard dividend yields, buybacks and capital growth - in a passive and hands-off manner.

You (still) do the research on what you want to buy or sell and when but we manage the passive yield on the position.
