I am deeply saddened to see the sorry state of this country. My blood boils every time I read a news or an article on how even the basic necessities of life are denied, or how it requires enormous amount of struggle to get things done -that are not even a mattter of discussion in other parts of the world. A country with so much potential, yet unable to use it to the full extent. Imagine the heights we could reach if we even leveraged 50% of it.
I have not been able to sleep peacefully at night for the past 6 months or so - because late evening or night is when I am most active on social media - mostly Reddit - where I am constantly bombarded with posts on how sadistic this country has become. The same thought keeps lingering day & night, not just while I'm off to sleep, but also every time I head out of the house or I get to experience the same things I read about. Reason for this rant is to also to get it off of my mind. They say writing heals.
Until a few days back I was very sympathetic towards the people of this country. I felt they deserved better. How the decision and doings of a few bureaucrats has affected the entire nation like a plague. How people have normalised struggle and access to basic rights or necessities of life.
I started delving deeper into these matters and started noticing that the very same people who struggle the most are also the reason for this unapologetic state of this country.
The very same people, divided by caste, fail to unite against the Govt. People are brainwashed to the core by social media. People are turning blind. 'Andh bhakt' is no longer a satire - it's a reality now. PR combined with social media is a lethal weapon, and no Govt has used till now the way the saffron gang is using. Even a Tea Seller knows this. /s
Last month, people from all over Maharashtra came together for a cause that is known to historically ruin this country - caste reservation. Imagine people coming together for a noble cause - what a transformation this nation could witness.
How the poor class is preyed upon -
If you think the 'Ladli Bahin' is funded by new pools of money to empower the 'Ladlis' - you are wrong. Funds are redirected from other schemes to fuel this scheme. The 'Maharashtra Lunch Scheme' is one such Ladli victim. The money used to feed the husbands are now being redirected to their wives and daughters. We would never know other such victim schemes. The beneficiaries of the scheme would never realise this redirection. This social group lacks vision. Their only concern is securing the next meal, with no thought given to the coming week - let alone the next month. The 'Easy to prey' class. Often enticed with short term schemes which almost never reach them. They don't care about the country - not they can be blamed for it. The fact is - they don't have the knowledge or awareness. Their memories are as short as their vision. Beat them with a stick and slap them with a scheme on their face, their past pains are erased instantly. Vulnerable, easy & cheap to manipulate who care only about the handouts. In some places you can buy them with liquor & chicken. One thing they got to do for sure is stop reproducing like rats. Not because they don't have much to contribute to the society, but for their own welfare. When they are not able to provide for their own, why create a next generation? Although this applies for all of us, it's more to this category of people. The majority status of this class is what is causing issues for the minority of the society.
How the middle class is fooled -
Scrolling through the comments on the posts of some famous controversial influencers made me realise how ignorant & brainwashed even the educated are.If you think the GST cuts are for the betterment of the citizens - you are wrong again. It's just a diversion from all the scams coming to light. 'Vote Chori' topping the list.I have seen that even the most educated blinded by saffron bhakti. Uncles in my building posting in praise of Vishwaguru. IT cell is real & it is working. Unemployed youths are now involved in spreading propaganda, without realising about thier future in a failed state.Look how smartly they eliminated a major proportion of people who are against the tax system - by increasing the slabs. Out of 3-4% of people paying income taxes, now only 2% or less will be paying. Less people to question the system now. I would do the same if the income tax was abolished, wouldn't even raise a finger against any failures of the Govt. As long as I pay, I want justification of my 30%.
I have always been telling everyone around me - GenZ's would either make or break the nation. There's no middle ground. Genz's of Nepal have proved they are on the 'Make' team. Reading a few comments on Nepal stories also paints a picture of how ignorant our people are. I have seen comments trying to convince others on how this won't happen in India because of how much blessed we are under Vishwaguru, and how great the state of the country is.
People are getting back exactly what they sowed & deserve. Blame the fool, not the trickster. I have no remorse for them. People need to awaken. This country needs a reset - which surely will happen someday. I hope the future generations are not like us, and that they boldly question the system at every turn. Thresholds are being crossed, and tolerance is wearing thin. Waiting for that one day when people of India will be an example for all the right reasons. Jai Hind!
And for those who will question on how I get to blame everyone, without doing anything myself - I'm up for it. Tell me how we can truly change this country. I am willing to devote my time and money if something meaningful and effective can be done.
