The Deriverse team is proud to announce the successful conclusion of our Deriverse Testnet Season 1, the first major step towards building the first comprehensive derivatives DEX on Solana. The Incentivized Testnet ran from 25th of October until 10th of November 2024. We’ve seen exceptionally strong engagement levels & recorded 1,322 traders as eligible for rewards. Our incentivized testnet achieved the following metrics:
We have seen $140m volumes traded on the competition application in only 10 days, 2.2k unique accounts & 11m transactions on both demo and competition versions of the application, more than 850 feedback forms submitted, and the Deriverse community grown to 1.7k X/Twitter followers & 7k Discord members.
As part of the Incentivized Testnet, Deriverse has run 4 incentivized campaigns:
Testnet Competition (trading competition based on PnL)
Discord Invite Campaign (Discord referral campaign)
Referral Campaign (testnet signup referral campaign)
Incentivized Testnet (using the demo & providing feedback)
Below is the breakdown of all 4 campaigns, with more information regarding the numbers achieved & incentives allocated.
The testnet competition has been the central component of the Deriverse Incentivized Testnet. More than 700 people took part in the competition by creating an account on the competition version of the application active for 10 days, from 1st to 10th of November 2024. Based on the achieved PnL, we’ve had the following top traders:

Active Traders Bonus: Every participant who made a trade during the competition received points. Instead of allocating points based on volume and number of trades, we decided to award every active participant with points. Each active participant will receive 1,000 points.

The Discord Invite Campaign has ensured stellar growth in the number of our Discord members. In only 2 weeks, we have grown from 40 members to 7,000 members. Based on the number of invited members, we’ve had the following top participants:

The Testnet Referral campaign has seen thousands of participants, with 54 people referred by our most successful participant. It’s important to note that we have filtered out high risk participants flagged by our system, i.e. participants referring fake accounts. The top 30 participants can be seen the table below:

We’ve had 866 people providing feedback after having interacted with Deriverse. Those who filled out our feedback form will each receive 500 points. The core feedback tended to be that there is a strong need for a mobile version of the app & more user friendly UX/UI.

The next major milestone will be a perpetual swap testnet, with the possibility of testing our API / SDK infrastructure.
