This is Devansh. I write about web3: decentralization, blockchain, and NFTs. I write about what I learn and what I'd like others to learn.

Read this for some context.
The first six months of this year have come to an end. The trajectory of time has gone up and down and round and round. Last month was filled with a lot of introspection and retrospection.
I have been minting an NFT almost every day for the HIVE4dmt20x3 Precursor collection - it has been quite the experiment. Out of the fifteen were minted, six were sold. I’d say that’s a fairly reasonable result seeing that I did not promote the collection at all. A few stories and a few tweets; very passive plays. This precursor is more of a habit-building exercise than anything. Almost everything I do now is a habit-building exercise. Inculcating positive and effective habits is essential for a successful life.
The Dreamland does not care for inconsistent, mediocre characters with no sense of ambition. It either drives them out, or they get sick of it and leave. It’s not an easy place to thrive in, not at all. One often feels trapped, lonely, overwhelmed, and troubled here (a lot of times all at once). But it’s all part of the journey to the top. This place rewards those who are truly gifted and driven (or those who are reaping the benefits of their forefathers’ gifts and drive).
The poems I’ve been writing every day revolve around the daily decisions we make: decisions that we make consciously and unconsciously. Five more and the first part of the Precursor collection will come to a conclusion. I intend to take a breather after completing this first part because I have to employ my writing for other projects and initiatives; important pursuits that need more of my time and bandwidth. Meanwhile, while the Precursor takes a rest, I will get in touch with potential buyers (someone’s gotta pay the bills) and purchase my NFTs. I’ll be posting sales updates on my Twitter.
It is extremely difficult for artists to get paid for their artwork. They simply do not have the resources or the tools to monetize their artistic endeavors. At least, not until they’ve spent numerous years hopping odd jobs and producing art simultaneously.
I am going to solve this problem.
Life imitates art, right? Time to remind everyone.
