Unfortunately, only some have the same educational opportunities due to limited resources, infrastructure, and reach. At the time of writing, it's estimated that 244 million children and youth between 6 and 18 globally were out of school in 2021 (UNESCO, 2022). Seeing these children not have access to formal education is concerning. However, technology can expand education by providing an informal method of learning. It has always been an ongoing innovation in human education and continues to push educational capabilities to new levels.

As technology progresses, the world becomes increasingly borderless in acquiring new skills or knowledge. Nowadays, as long as we are connected to the internet, we can find multiple resources and educational content that can be studied anytime and anywhere. However, what about youth living in parts of the world with limited access to digital connectivity? What about a child without access to gadgets they can use as a learning medium?

Kogi NFT, as a project, is built to decentralize access to meaningful education for youths. Therefore, we embrace technological advances, especially when it comes to education. We are excited to share our NFT project, which has been at the forefront of the #NFTforEducation movement. Our goal is to use the power of NFTs to positively impact the world and support education initiatives.

Kogi NFT is supported by Kompas Gramedia, one of the biggest media companies in Indonesia, and we have the vision to enlighten the nation through literacy. Throughout the years, Kompas Gramedia has educated Indonesians through 1 university, 1 vocational college, 6 educational institutions, and 7 book publishing companies on top of their other businesses. With the advancement of technology, Kogi NFT will be the latest addition to the medium for education, specifically for Web3.

It has always been the vision of Kogi NFT to play a role and contribute to youth education. Based on our belief that Web3, the latest iteration of the internet, will be the future, we focus on providing methods, resources, and facilities to build the youth's awareness, knowledge, and literacy on Web3. Our roadmap consists of 2 significant components: activating physical learning hubs and an educative game app.

Kogi NFT is in it for the long run; thus, the implementation of the physical learning hubs will begin in Indonesia. As the project progresses and most of Indonesia is covered, we will partner with like-minded global projects or communities. The initiative to activate the learning hub is not solely on providing the infrastructure, such as internet connectivity and good gadgets, but also learning programs that can be accessed by everyone who wants to learn the Web3 space. Kogi NFT will collaborate with individuals who aspire to teach and communities of specific expertise that might provide additional resources on top of formal education.

Our project aims to raise funds for educational programs and resources that make a difference in global communities. By purchasing one of our NFTs, you will add a unique and collectible item to your collection and support a great cause. Global research has proven that quality, early-childhood development interventions can effectively break the transmission of poverty from one generation to the next (World Bank, 2014). Therefore, Kogi NFT will also build a game targeted toward children, open to those ages 7+ and older. This provides an opportunity for a more interactive and fun learning experience to demonstrate the world of Web3 and prepare them to be future builders in the space.
