The warm crackle of the fire
And vegetables waiting to roast.
The charcuterie board we place on the table
And champagne, here, for our toast.
We’re all together on this fine Sunny day
We gather all here in November.
Our thanks and gratitude can’t be spoken in to words
This town makes us all still remember.
The friends of the patriots and natives who taught
All on our earth is the same.
The people we love, even those we don’t know
Make up our world free of blame.
