We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in our journey: the launch of Scroll Mainnet! After three successful testnets, it's time for developers and protocols to bring their contracts to life and explore the endless possibilities of Scroll’s latest innovation. In celebration of this momentous occasion, we are introducing Scroll Origins, a unique NFT minting event designed to honor and recognize the early builders of Scroll.
Scroll has been unwavering in its commitment to Ethereum-aligned values, guiding us towards a path of open-source development, community engagement, and credible neutrality right from the start. Our vision is to cultivate an ecosystem that grows organically, providing equal opportunities for everyone to contribute, learn, and flourish in the Web3 space. The Scroll Origins NFT is a testament to this vision, serving as a symbol of recognition for our early builders, a unifying link for our community, and a reminder of the incredible potential that lies ahead when we collaborate and innovate together.
Our mission with Scroll Origins was to create more than just a visual representation; we wanted to craft an NFT that truly embodies Scroll's dedication to zero-knowledge principles. The result is a visually stunning NFT featuring a Scroll-themed background and a dynamic polynomial equation. Each NFT is unique, with a distinct polynomial that represents the complex mathematical foundations essential for generating and verifying various zero-knowledge proofs, a core functionality of Scroll zkEVM.
The unique curves of each NFT are generated based on the deployment stage and metadata of the underlying contract, capturing essential details such as the first deployment date, order of deployment, deployment address, initial deployed contract transaction hash, and additional surprises for exceptional contracts.

In terms of eligibility, anyone who deploys a smart contract to Scroll Mainnet within the first 60 days of the Genesis Block (October 10, 2023, 6AM GMT) will qualify for one of three types of NFTs, available across three deployment phases:
Quintic: Deploy within the first 30 days of the Genesis Block (By November 9, 2023, 10:59PM GMT)
Quartic: Deploy between Day 30 and Day 45 of the Genesis Block (By November 24, 2023 10:59PM GMT)
Cubic: Deploy between Day 45 and Day 60 of the Genesis Block (By December 9, 2023 10:59PM GMT)
Remember, exceptional contracts will be in for some extra surprises!
Mark your calendars! Starting December 14, 2023, at 10PM GMT, you will be able to claim your Scroll Origins NFT live on the Scroll website. Please note that your NFT is Soulbound (non-transferable), so make sure to claim it to the correct wallet.
