Here’s why I got into crypto.
People get into crypto for different reasons. Some get in for the rebellious nature, others for innovation.
At first, I thought the main use case of Bitcoin is → a hedge against inflation.
But there’s so much more.
Cryptocurrencies offer a wide variety of use cases. Some solve financial functions like lending and savings, others solve privacy functions like identity documentation and data storage. There are projects with their own use cases, innovating in their own ways.
The sheer number of unique and decentralized use cases is what makes cryptocurrencies built on public blockchains so interesting and innovative.
And once you start, you dive deep into the rabbit hole asking questions like:
“Where can I use ETH?” “What is a web3 wallet?” “Where can I get 10% yield?” ”How do I buy a piece of digital art?” “When will I ever be a recipient of an airdrop?”
And soon enough, you’re in the rabbithole!
What was your reason for getting into crypto?
