This is an update on the status of Tripsters. Before we continue, we’d like to appreciate the community as a whole for sticking this far, even through the ups and downs, especially the downs. Tripsters has been home for a very long time and it’s hard to see the state it is in. Therefore, moving forward, there will be a drastic change in leadership, direction, and vision.
Originally Tripsters set out to “Connect Communities through the power of Psychedelics” and had the vision to do this through artwork. Well, in that pursuit, of chasing other communities, Tripsters lost focus on its own community. Attempting to deliver value and utility to others to hopefully attract value back. After months, we have not delivered on those goals and because of that, have re-evaluated our vision.
Here’s our new vision. Connect communities through the power of Psychedelics. We want to engage and bring value to OUR Tripsters. Connect with others and become a healing place in Web3. Delivering TrippyVibes across the space through OUR Tripsters. The community will move forward as our number #1 priority. We want everyone to be Tripster with or without a token. But especially our token holders deserve the utmost transparency, respect, and value being brought to the table.
Tripsters original roadmap for direction has proven to be financially unfeasible, commonly unwanted, and adding no additional value. After months of artwork creation, backend conversations, and feedback, it has become clear that the process of tripping other collections is a mistake.
We want to go places and do more. Through the community and psychedelics. We want to be a Web2 & Web3 Tripster. We believe in turning Tripsters into a real-world lifestyle brand bridging into providing a tripped-out lifestyle through collaboration and product development. Instead of Tripping out NFTs, we will connect with others and create “Tripster” variants of existing merchandise that favor our community but are welcoming to all. We want Tripsters to be synonymous with good and trippy vibes. To be a brand, community, and product of comfort, wellness, and relief. Anywhere from T-shirts - Candy. We can trip anything with the help of the Tripsters.
Tripsters Founders are stepping down from their current positions and handing full control of Tripsters to its new leadership and community. Although we appreciate what Tripsters once was, we also understand what Tripsters currently is. After many discussions, we have agreed that we believe it’s best to allow the community to take over. The Founders will continue being members of the community, providing support, and being Tripster’s biggest fans.
The team (Scientists) will consist of DareVader, Lysergic, r33hab, Donutboy, Commotio, Bonglo, and KrissyH.
The mods (Lab Techs) will consist of Flex, Jamanactive, Edbacca, Roberderch, and NFTKing.
We want to reboot Tripsters at full throttle. To aid with this, the Founders have transferred Discord Ownership, Twitter Credentials, and a small fund of $15,000 to DareVader to execute his plan.
Tripsters, in an attempt to breathe new life and provide value back into our ecosystem, will reimagine what Tripsters is entirely in every… single… piece.
We are going to update our brand on all fronts including logo, banners, web design, and artwork. We want to give ourselves the chance at a completely new look, feel, and morale associated with it. To relieve ourselves from baggage.
We are going to increase the supply to the original goal of 10,000 Tripsters. We strongly believe in allowing for growth and providing more opportunities to allow us as a brand to hold more leverage. We will also foster a new story, lore, and background to the Tripsters including the reason they exist and who’s fighting for control…

We are going to update all artwork (minted & unminted) to be 2D. What this means is, if you currently own a Tripster (Shroom or Toad), you’ll have your metadata refreshed to be a 2D Version that will match your current trait set along with updated traits.
We feel that your psychedelics and/or TripApes aren’t providing value or something that is of any value. We are moving away entirely for the time being from Tripping out other collections which leaves us with 2 failed sub collections that suck value away from the main collection. Again, a part of our vision is to deliver value back to Tripsters. So we’ve decided to repurpose both collections and give you, the Tripster, a vote on how we handle this.
We want to repurpose your NFTs for the better. Bringing and providing value that just isn’t currently there. We can do this by selecting one of the two options below and holding a vote. This will effectively replace your current Psychdelics and or TripApes with Tripsters.

This will unlock potential and value as they go towards feeding the main collection and unlocking the possibility to account for rarity, scarcity, and size. You can hold onto your NFTs, sell them, or burn them for free Tripsters.
Option 1: Holders can burn their NFT themselves and send us the TXN of the burn. We can then WL you for the appropriate free mints. This is a bit tedious but ultimately a worthwhile decision as it retains value long-term.
Option 2: We’ll take a snapshot by a certain deadline and WL the wallets with the appropriate amount of mints. This more easily and quickly handles the situations but destroys all potential value.
The reason we can't burn them is that the contracts have no functionality to allow a public burn for security e.g with the baggies we could burn them because we had the function to allow the holder to approve and the burn performs in exchange for the mint. Without that in the contract, we aren't able to access the token and burn then do the mint and as it’s not in any of the contracts there is no way to really do that.
We have a supply that is open to mint and will be split as such.
Admin Mint - 207 Tripsters for the use of Giveaways, Prizes, Payments, and/or Gifts
Paid Mint - 1,000 Public Mint. This is a paid public mint meant to raise funds for Tripsters. As it currently stands, there is no capital. We are going to invest $15,000 to give Tripsters the best chance of success.
The Mint will be open to everyone and will cost $50 per Tripster which will raise $50,000 for Tripsters. Not including potential royalty earnings, this pays off the initial investment and leaves us net positive with $35,000 which will and can go a long way.
Again, we aren’t asking you to purchase anything and we want to reward the best way we can those who have been holding by hopefully returning value to your NFTs.
All $15,000 is going to the Developer and Artist. The current timeline, due to the extent of the work, is 3 - 4 weeks. During this time we will spend every day educating, promoting, reorganizing, and restructuring everything.

We aim to spend months 1 and 2 to rebuilding our community. The trust, relationships, brand, and exposure. We believe in giving this a shot because we believe in the vision. We take huge inspiration from others like Pudgy Penguins and most recently, the Dippies. We want you to be very aware, valued and cared for.
Afterwards, we’d like to spend months 3 and 4 collaborating with other creators, brands, and products. We want to start engaging with physical and digital “Tripster Edititons” out in the market. Exposing our brand and holders to what’s available.
Then, months 5 and 6, we’d like to be in a position to start executing our own line of merchandise along with collaborations. We want to build a successful lifestyle brand that isn’t tied down to Tripsters but rather amplified by that fact.
Every step of the way, we will be open, honest, and present. We won’t communicate news unless it’s being executed. We won’t promise and overhype a future. We won’t betray your trust.
We are reducing Creator Royalties across the board from 7.5% down to 5%
