Namada is a proof-of-stake blockchain that enables private, multi-asset transactions using a shielded pool and has a native Ethereum bridge and full support for the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. Users of shielded transfers on Namada are rewarded in native tokens and the platform is designed as a network of fractal instances with varied state machines and security models. Namada's first instance is focused on private asset transfers and aims to provide a user-friendly solution for multi-asset privacy. The Namada specification is divided into four sub-sections: base ledger, multi-asset shielded pool, interoperability, and economics.
