Todd has an extensive background in startups, product development, fundraising, business leadership and marketing. He spent over a decade trailblazing more thoughtful and human-centric approaches to marketing, with expertise in both Gamification (adding game-like elements to campaigns and creative to increase engagement) and Behavior Design (building products and content expressly crafted to facilitate desired behaviors through the psychology of a user’s motivation and ability).
Beginning in 2014, Todd was the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Fiero, a digital agency specializing in both Gamification and Behavior Design. In just two years, Fiero landed accounts like Disney, Verizon, Sony, Virgin, Technicolor and Macy’s. In 2016, he sold Fiero to a national agency and began the next chapter of his career.
As the Director of Venture Strategy for The Refinery, an organization dedicated to supporting and optimizing purely disruptive ventures. Between 2017 and 2019, he worked for Sony Pictures in marketing, branding, and business development. While at Sony, he brought PlayShow to life, an Emmy award-winning interactive TV product that brought Jeopardy! to mobile phones. Additionally, he led corporate partnerships between the studio and major organizations like Apple, Amazon, Google and more.
Todd understands OTT media and builds digital platforms. In addition, his expertise in customer acquisition, content monetization, IP licensing, and UX design creates the right pedigree to lead Gamestar+. With all of this, it’s easy to see why Todd has piqued interest from investors and partners alike.
