Blocklete Games is a blockchain-based interactive game franchise. Their goal is to construct a sports metaverse that will captivate, entertain, and provide value to their players. Their debut game is Blocklete Golf, a unique golf management game that provides digital ownership and utility using NFTs. Blocklete Golf originally launched on the Ethereum blockchain but has now found its way to the Flow blockchain. The game is currently live but the developers are planning a revamp of their game.
In Blocklete Golf, you’ll compete against others to be on the top of the leaderboards and strive to become a Legend inside the Blocklete virtual sports world. There are different ways to participate in the ecosystem of the game. These are the following:
Collecting, trading & owning Golfers: There are different tiers of golfers and these are: Novice, Pro, Elite and Legends. These are all based on their attributes and rarity. Legend golfers are the rarest golfers and have the most ability in the game.
Play for Rewards: This is aimed at those who enjoy playing the game day-in and day-out for the potential to receive rewards without needing to outperform other players. If you opt for this, you need to know that this will require an investment of your time.
Compete to Win: This is intended to be a competitive offering, where you can compete to win cash rewards. This requires finding the best golfer and the right gear, plus skilled gameplay so you can win against other players in events and tournaments.
Operate a Pro Shop: This is a coming soon aspect but to participate in this part of the game, you will need to buy a Pro Shop NFT. You will also need to spend time recruiting golfers to join your Pro Shop as team members. Team members can play the game and contribute points they win towards their Pro Shop. Based on the Pro Shop’s point totals, the Pro Shop’s owner will receive access to mint and the Pro Shop’s team members will share in the revenue.
There will be three different sorts of awards that you may earn through playing the game, including daily challenges and tournaments.
Medals: This is earned through games and may be utilized to increase the golfer's skill, allowing the golfer to level up.
Points: (Coming Soon) earned via gaming and may be used to build items at the Pro Shop.

Blocklete Golf is an interactive investment-style golf game that lets you collect, train, trade and compete with unique digital golfers as you earn cash prizes and bragging rights along the way. From what I’ve seen it looks like the game is whimsical and will be played purely for fun. However, if non-gamers were asked which sports they believe would be the most popular in the gaming industry, it is unlikely that they would rank the reputedly slow-paced sport of golf highly. Instead, they would likely assume that fast-paced sports such as basketball would be more prevalent in the industry.
Nevertheless, Blocklete Golf seems to offer an authentic sense of reality as it takes in account the characters’ attribute, weather, precision and power of the club as it hits the ball. This feature makes the game more immersive. I think adding many additional limits to enhance the game experience, like the ball rolling on a dune for example is certainly a good addition in the future, but what Blocklete Golf has already accomplished is already great.
Overall, Blocklete Golf is far from being perfect. There needs to be more features to add to make the game more fun and their website definitely needs improvement too as it looked too plain and boring to encourage players, especially non-golf players to onboard the game. I hope that Blocklete Golf will continue to improve as it provides a well-developed gaming experience to their community as they move forward.
