Guide: Your 0G Labs Storage Node with EasyNode

EasyNode is a Node-as-a-Service platform offering seamless one-click node deployment and management.

We are excited to announce our latest 0G Labs Validator node integration!

Follow this guide to get started:

What’s a Storage Node?

To put it simply, Storage Nodes are responsible for maintaining 0G’s data storage system. Storage nodes store and retrieve chunks of data for 0G, and coordinate with 0G DA to confirm data availability.

Storage Nodes are incentivized to store data via rewards distributed to those that can successfully answer queries relating to archived data. This is known as Proof of Random Access (PoRA), a variation of PoW that also relies on computing power.

Step 1: Purchase your 0G Storage Node

  1. Got to the Marketplace

  2. Select 0G > Storage Node

  3. Select your preferred subscription plan

  4. Complete the payment process

  5. Fill out a short form

If you are already running a 0G Validator node, you can share your Validator address and private key in the form. We will run your Storage node using the same address as your Validator node.

This is a great way to boost your chances of receiving potential rewards as you are doubling your interactions with the project.

Not running a Validator node? No problem. We will create a new wallet for you.

Now, patiently wait for your node to be deployed. This can take up to 48 hours. Your Storage node will run on its own VPS, even if you are already running a Validator node.

Step 2: Claim $A0GI

  1. Once your node has been deployed, claim your Private Keys on your Nodefolio page by clicking ‘Node Secrets’. Save them carefully if you choose to delete them from our database as this action is irreversible.

  2. Claim $A0GI once from the 0G Faucet, using your ‘Node Address’. This address can be retrieved on your Nodefolio. These Testnet tokens will allow EasyNode to complete the final step of activating your Storage node.

Step 3: Update your Validator Form

  1. If you are already running a Validator node, you can update your Validator Application Form with your Storage Node information.

  • Storage node public IP addresshttp://ip:5678/

  • Replace ‘ip’ with the IP on your Kuma Dashboard (My Nodes > Access Monitoring)

  • (Don’t fill out ‘Storage KV public IP address’.)

If you are not running a Validator node, or if your Storage node isn’t linked to your Validator node, you do not need to fill out or update the form.
