First, let’s get two concepts straight: Constellation Labs — a technology that allows blockchain applications to implement customizable, trending layer 2 blockchains.
Optimistic rollup — Layer 2 blockchain, which provides greater performance by processing transactions off-chain. At the same time, it inherits the security guarantees of the first-level blockchain. Read more here — right here. The network itself is also fully compatible with all existing Ethereum tools. By the way, all prerequisites to solve blockchain thriller. Highly recommend to see this video for clarity.
Moving on to investors and partners:
And we have Sequoia, a16z, Polychain and Electric Capital on board . There are no official amounts, but the fact that the two crypto investment whales are present at such an early stage is very pleasant. Twitter of the project is also followed by guys from Coinbase, ImpossibleFinance, a lot of developers and DAO. (it’s quite possible that in the next round, the famous American exchange will also give some money :)). Unfortunately there is no info about team. But I think some details will be revealed in the near future.

Features:
Fast and cheap transactions: 100–200 ms and <$0.001 (comparison tables).
Network settings.
Different execution environment (EVM, SVM, MVM).
Choice of means for gas payment (operator can choose any ERC20 token).
Design for block browser.
Restriction of certain operations.
There is also a novel fully-on-chain game, launched their game on Constellation: https://twitter.com/0xConstellation/status/1549226059307966464.
To sum up, We have a very strong project at a very early stage. Let’s follow the development, wait for announcements and disclosure of details!
By the way, the project also has a testnet running, now just to demonstrate the functionality of the chain. It is fully compatible with EVM, so you can also try to deploy contracts, etc. Obviously there are no rewards yet, but I think it’s pretty good to be one of the first to make history. Step-by-step guide from my colleague.
Thanks everyone!
