Raindrops knock on the eaves, streaming down the tiles in silver-white rivulets. Lamplight from indoors filters through the window panes, casting a ring of warmth outside. The wind blows by, swaying shadows of the eaves lantern on the wall, intertwining with the swaying tree shadows in the wind.

The rainy night is tranquil and beautiful, as if the whole world has quieted down, with only the wind and rain for company. The heart settles down in this night rain too, letting go of all the clamor and disturbances.
