Embarking on this journey to learn and build in web3 I’ve taken a swing

minting my own NFT collection and ship a Web3 app to show them off. This is a very simple project for a beginner like myself. I understand how front-end experiences work i.e. a website however, my goal here is to learn how to build a dApp using blockchain technology - in this instance on Ethereum.

• Since this will live on Ethereum I will be learning Solidity to write this contract

• Since this is my first time using dev and coding tools

  • VSCode (although I am partial web IDEs like remix)

  • Hardhat for contract deployment

  • Replit for front-end using javascript

  • Alchemy

• The final product will not be pushed to mainnet. It will be built and deployed on Rinkeby (testnet) only.
