It’s been a while since I’ve started Crypto Valleys and I’ve progressed that little bit more since my last article. Players on Sepolia Testnet will have noticed slight changes at a few places. You can see that the Valley has changed its looks, House and Marketplace have also undergone some changes. Farm though, has stayed roughly the same and that’s what I’m happy with as I plan to go a little into the various seeds we have in this game, at the moment.
Seeds and their Rarity
Right now, the game has 12 seeds split into 5 different rarities. These seeds give you $YIELD and Produce as you farm. The rewards and growth time differ as you plant the different seeds that you get.
The Common Seeds
There are currently 4 Common seeds, the Wheat, the Tomato, the Carrot and the Corn. These are the lowest tier in Crypto Valley and give you negative unlocked $YIELD.
Growth Time: 2 hrs 24 mins
Total Yield: 40 $YIELD (30 Locked / 10 Unlocked)
Bearing in mind that Basic seeds cost 20 $YIELD each regardless of rarity, you will be facing a negative balance if you consistently only plant Common seeds.
The Uncommon Seeds
There are currently 3 Uncommon seeds, the Pumpkin, the Chili and the Radish. While it may be only 1 level above the Common seeds, the gains from these are significantly better.
Growth Time: 3 hrs 36 mins
Total Yield: 72 $YIELD (54 Locked / 18 Unlocked)
With Uncommon seeds, you lose 2 $YIELD each time you plant and harvest them, however, you can easily lower the deficit by increasing your Valley levels.
The Rare Seeds
There are only 2 Rare seeds, the Celery and the Broccoli (Ugghh, both vegetables that are…..). Once you get them, you are already in luck.
Growth Time: 4 hrs 48 mins
Total Yield: 96 $YIELD (72 Locked / 24 Unlocked)
With Rare seeds, you gain a base of 4 $YIELD every time. This will be useful in helping you grow your resources.
The Epic Seeds
There are also 2 Epic seeds, the Berry and the Cabbage. It’s not easy to get them and when you do, you might want to utilize items such as Pesticide (increases Produce gained) or Fertilizer (increases $YIELD gained).
Growth Time: 6 hrs
Total Yield: 180 $YIELD (135 Locked / 45 Unlocked)
Using of items helps you to maximise your gains for these seeds and you might want to do that early on. My logic being that the earlier you upgrade your Valley level, the more your profits roll on. But, but, but maybe you want to save them for the last seed….the ultimate seed…. the……
The Legendary Seed
Know this, there is only 1 Legendary seed. It’s said to be so rare that many Farmers have never seen it. Some are wondering if it even exists? And I stand alongside those farmers!
Growth Time: ??? hrs
Total Yield: ??? $YIELD (??? Locked / ??? Unlocked)
In all my years farming, I’ve not had such a crop that grows so well and gives so much $YIELD.
Just wanna say, I was joking! I do have it! It can be seen right at the very top of this article! Just for the sake of discovering stuff in games, I’m going to leave it to you to find out for yourself the wonderous profits you get when you plant a Grape. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT HESITATE to use your items on Grape seeds when you get them, simply because it’s not easy to get them!
