How to: Move $ETH from Arbitrum to zkSync
Ethereum layer 1 gas fees are really painful at the present that's because of the success of the Ethereum blockchain. We've seen an enormous growth in terms of people utilizing the blockchain. High gas fees shows just really shows Ethereum's success. There are several layer 2 scaling protocols who have come to the rescue. Here are the basic steps to move your funds from Arbitrum(Layer2 optimistic rollup solution built on Ethereum by Offchain Labs) to zkSync(a trustless protocol...

Here’s of how Orbiter Finance’s mechanism works in a nutshell. I’ve been using Orbiter Finance in the past two months moving funds from L1 to L2 or vice versa. Nice thing about Orbiter is can also move funds from another L2 protocol to another and I can say the experience is good can’t complain about anything. Cheap, fast, and secured transactions.Current cross-rollup protocols that Orbiter supports:zkSyncArbitrumOptimismPolygon“Security is the most important thing besides being cheap and fas...

Several months ago I’ve started writing how good my experience is on using Orbiter Finance. The first article I have written was a guide on how to move ETH from Arbitrum to zkSync which was December 2021.
I’ve been closely following the progress of the project and there are several significant updates I’d like to share with you all.
In the first article I have written, Orbiter only support Arbitrum, Ethereum mainnet, and zkSync. It did not take so long before they’ve supported other networks like Optimism, Polygon, Metis, Boba, Immutable X, Loopring, zkSpace, dYdX, StarkNet, and BnB Chain.

The latest addition to their supported networks is Arbitrum Nova.

They have been also one of the projects who got a lot of traction in Gitcoin Grants round 13. Orbiter was able to raise a total of $69,619

They started with ETH and that was the only currency that is supported in the app several months ago. As they steadily progressed with the project they have also supported USDC followed by USDT with a limited liquidity. They’ve started with 200 USDC or USDT as the maximum amount you can bridge and then later on capped in to 10,000 USDC or USDT.
You can now transfer:
-up to 3000 USDC from Nova to Etherum, zkSync, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, dYdX.
-up to 5000 USDC fromOptimism, Arbitrum to Nova.
- up to 10000 USDC from Etherum, Polygon, zksync to Nova.

A month ago Orbiter posted a Twitter announcement of the new version.
