A lot has happened since we came back from Buenos Aires. Let’s look back at the Ethereum Culture Day we hosted there, the freshly opened hackathon applications, and finally, our call for volunteers.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Come build, explore new ideas with the community, and ship something meaningful together. All of that inside the stunning historical venue of Prague’s Municipal House, a place where history was written, now ready for you to co-create the future.
Whether you already have a team, want to connect with future frens & collaborators, or just feel like taking your first on-chain shot, now’s the perfect moment.
💻 Fun fact: tons of our former hackers found long-lasting friendships or even joined projects they’re still building today. You might be the one we write about in next year’s newsletter.

Today is a special occasion: International Volunteer Day! Volunteers have always played a key role in delivering the best experience for both hackers and conference attendees.
Become one of our changemakers this May! Enjoy an experience many of you keep coming back to, gain access to conference talks, networking and learning opportunities, and enjoy an unforgettable time full of lasting memories.

Honestly, WHAT A WEEK (actually almost two)! Devconnect 2025 is behind us, so let’s take a moment to look back at the side event we hosted in the heart of Argentina’s capital: Ethereum Culture Day.
The location, the speakers, the sponsors… It's definitely not an easy task when the whole community gathers in a place where there’s so much to do and see. Without sounding ungrateful, we sometimes feel that at conferences as big as this one, something is missing. An intimate event, far from the noise and crowds, where you can talk about your favorite topics in peace, with good food and drinks. Almost like a little fireside chat 🏕
So yeah. That’s exactly what we did.
🇨🇿 This side event was part of our “Road to Prague” series, during which we invite our friends to join us for our 5th edition in May.
And we want to thank all of you who joined us! Wondering what it was all about? Then simply skim through the part where we thank all of our amazing speakers.
So, chronologically, we’d like to thank Mario Havel for his takes on Living on Ethereum; Josef Gattermayer from Ackee for bringing up the ETH × SOL culture clash; José Pedro Cabrita & Nader Dabit for their super-combo talk about Ethereum’s people layer; Nixo, CheekyGorilla & David Hoffman for the super interesting panel on what defines Ethereum’s culture; Aya Miyaguchi and our very own Josef Jelacic for moderating the highly anticipated fireside chat; and last but definitely not least, Patricio Worthalter for introducing us to the impossible balance between cultural alignment and survival.
Because without them, it wouldn’t have been possible. So let us introduce you to EigenCloud, Ackee, and Cleevio. And if you haven’t met them yet, spend a moment with what they shared with us:
EigenCloud
