Reflecting on the progress from ETHSamba's yearly hackathon gathering to the recent success of its second edition, it's clear each year raises the bar. This year, held from March 22-24, saw 450 builders, including 40% college sophomores and seniors, familiar and unfamiliar with solidity and smart contracts, engage in a 56-hour marathon to create 49 projects, competing for $25,000 in bounties. This second edition reinforced our commitment to developing the ecosystem from the ground up, both now and in the years ahead.
Wow! Let's roll out a recap.

The recent event highlighted our deep commitment to education and innovation within the blockchain ecosystem. This year, we witnessed not just a significant increase in participant numbers but also an extraordinary expansion in the diversity and scope of projects developed.
