Farlegacy AMA — Text Recap

Note: The recording of our live Twitter AMA wasn’t saved due to a mistake on our side. It happens. To make sure everyone stays in the loop, we’ve put together this written recap covering all the key points, questions, and announcements from the session.

What Is Farlegacy?

Farlegacy is a fully onchain collectible card game set in a world shaped by crypto culture, memes, and mythologies. Every card, match, and asset is stored directly on the blockchain, giving players true ownership of their progress and collections. Transparency, permanence, and player control are core to the experience.

Farlegacy combines deep deckbuilding mechanics with a dynamic, evolving meta. Players can earn rewards, join clans, influence the game’s future through governance, and explore a growing ecosystem designed around community participation. The ability to build custom mods or interfaces using open developer tools is part of the long-term vision and will become available as the game continues to develop.

Community Questions

When is the game launching?

We’re aiming for a public alpha release this summer. Right now, we’re focused on internal testing, bug fixing, and polishing the experience before opening it up.

What are Crystals and why do I need one?

Crystals are NFT access tokens required to play Farlegacy. Only 10,000 will exist, and 100 of them are Gold-tier with governance rights and a share of royalty revenue. Crystals are needed to access battles, events, and rewards. The game also features a stacking mechanic: holding multiple Crystals in one account boosts your in-game rewards.

How can I get a Crystal?

You can earn a spot on the whitelist by being active in the community (especially on Discord) or by participating in giveaways.

Will the game have a token?

Yes. $SHARD will be the main in-game token. It will be used for events, seasonal modes, exclusive features, and customizations. Players will earn $SHARD by participating in battles, quests, events, and clan activities.

Why did you choose Base over other chains like Solana?

Base offers high transaction speed, low fees, and strong builder support. It also connects well with the Farcaster and Warpcast ecosystem, which is where much of our community already lives.

Is Farlegacy mobile-only?

No. Farlegacy is playable on any device that supports Warpcast apps. We’re focused on accessibility and a smooth experience across platforms.

Will there be a clan system?

Yes. Players will be able to join clans, compete in events, and participate in clan-based challenges and wars.

Are there different game modes?

Yes. One of the planned modes is “Battle Draft,” where players use a randomized deck for fast, casual matches. Other modes will be revealed as development continues.

How are you handling pay-to-win concerns?

We’re designing the game to prioritize skill and creativity. $SHARD and card mechanics are being balanced carefully to ensure that wallet size doesn’t dominate gameplay.

Will players be able to build on top of the game?

Yes. We plan to release open developer tools and a public API so that community members can build custom interfaces, mods, or even their own tournaments.

The Vision

Farlegacy aims to redefine how players interact with digital games by giving them real ownership and a voice in shaping the world they play in.

It is the foundation for a broader ecosystem that includes community-driven content, narrative expansions, and creative tools. Over time, Farlegacy is set to grow into a platform where players do not just participate but actively co-create the experience.

What Comes Next

Farlegacy is still in its early stages. Onchain gameplay, a focused team, and a growing community are building the foundation for what is to come. The public alpha is scheduled to launch this summer, with new features, game modes, and opportunities rolling out as development continues.
