EVIDENCE SERIES — Episode 1: "PUBLIC NOTICE"

They Locked Us Out With Pneumonia. Police Protected the Criminals. Now I'm Producing the Evidence.

By Felice LaZae | The World's First Blockchain-Preserved Government Code § 910 Legal Notice

Breaking My Silence After 194 Days

On January 7, 2025, while I battled pneumonia and we both suffered severe neurological effects from seven months of toxic mold exposure, our landlord illegally locked me and my partner, Joe Borges, out and stole $70,000 of our belongings.

They thought we'd disappear. They didn't realize I'm a fucking producer.

For 20 years, I've pioneered immersive entertainment - from spatial audio albums to interactive experiences, advising Disney, Marvel Studios, Warner Bros Television to tech startups. As an performing artist, storyteller and producer, I've always experiemented with emerging technologies. I love using gamification and interactivity to transform how audiences engage with content.

Now I'm applying those same innovations to justice.

This Thursday at Comic-Con, I'll demonstrate this fusion live at my panel "Built for the Fans". What you're witnessing isn't just crisis response - it's the deliberate application of entertainment innovation to systematic accountability.

EVIDENCE: A True Crime Series represents the convergence of everything I've built - where serialized content, community participation, and blockchain transparency create unprecedented paths to justice.

They also didn't know I understand blockchain immutability. This is the first Government Code § 910 legal notice delivered as Episode 1 of a true crime series, permanently preserved on-chain.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta's own Information Bulletin (2022-DLE-05)¹ specifically mandates: "Law enforcement must treat illegal lockouts as crimes under PC 418."

The police refused. We have it all on tape. And now the FBI has it too.

Every word. Every violation. Every admission.

How Community-Funded Evidence Works

This isn't a paywall - it's collective accountability architecture. When our community funding reaches specific milestones, everyone gets access to that evidence. You can contribute $5, $25, $100, or whatever moves you. Every dollar counts toward unlocking the next revelation.

What You're Funding: In 5 days, I present at Comic-Con on the future of immersive entertainment. This series IS what that future is all about - where audiences become co-producers. But we need $10,000 to:

  • Get there safely

  • Professional presentation of this revolutionary model

  • Prove community-funded justice works at scale

Victim compensation exists to prevent careers from being destroyed by crime. When every system failed us, Comic-Con said yes. We refuse to let criminals take this opportunity too.

What You're About to Witness

This is evidence-based accountability in real-time. Every audio clip, every document, every timestamp below is part of a 194-day documentation of live protest that proves:

  1. Police manufacture complexity to protect criminals

  2. Government agencies discriminate while hoarding millions

  3. Victims are systematically exhausted into silence

  4. Communities can fund their own justice

The recordings you'll hear? They're packaged as episodic video investigations - true crime meets TikTok meets revolutionary justice. Short. Powerful. Shareable.

The Seven Times That Changed Everything

Two weeks after Deputy Curiel misclassified our case, I called demanding proper investigation. Sergeant Tafoya answered. On that recorded call, I asked him seven times - SEVEN TIMES - to open a proper police report for the crimes being committed against us. Seven times he used circular logic, gaslighting, and obstruction tactics to avoid doing his job.

Only a sheriff can evict someone, and only after due legal process. A landlord CANNOT lock you out of your home. Not if they claim you owe rent. Not if they don't like you. Not ever. Especially not as retaliation for reporting toxic mold that caused pneumonia.

Attorney General Bonta outlined these as CRIMES:

  • California Penal Code § 418 - Illegal eviction

  • California Penal Code § 487 - Grand theft

  • California Penal Code § 518 - Extortion

Full 25-minute call unlocks in Episode 2

194 Days: The Medical Emergency No One Will Treat

For 194 days, my partner Joe and I have been homeless. Not by choice. By crime.

Joe is a stroke survivor whose symptoms worsen daily without care. I battle extreme physical pain from both mold poisoning and institutional violence. The neurological inflammation creates burning patches on my scalp. We're not "inconvenienced" - we're dying slowly while criminals keep everything we own.

We couldn't "just go get our stuff." They changed the locks. Police protected them. The system that should enforce law became accomplice to crime.

This systematic targeting follows documented patterns. Neurodivergent individuals experience 3-4x higher rates of criminal victimization. When law enforcement refuses to intervene, engineered homelessness becomes inevitable.

The $46.7 Million Betrayal

CalVCB sits on $46.7 million in federal funds meant for victims exactly like us. Instead:

"We don't fund nonviolent crimes" - while $70,000 theft enforced by police protection isn't "nonviolent."

Full discrimination recording unlocks in Episode 3

The Opportunities Being Stolen

I'm presenting at Comic-Con next week on the future of immersive entertainment. After years pioneering spatial storytelling - from Dolby Atmos visual albums to innovation consulting for Disney and Marvel Studios- this should be a triumphant moment and I can’t let our violators win - not institutional or individual violators - NOPE.

At Comic-Con, I'll demonstrate how immersive technology enables:

  • Direct creator-to-audience relationships

  • Participatory narratives where audiences shape outcomes

  • Transparent, creator-centered monetization models

  • Technology-powered experiences that transform passive viewing into active participation

This Evidence Series exemplifies these principles in action. You're not just reading about injustice - you're participating in accountability. The same frameworks that revolutionize entertainment can revolutionize justice: giving communities control over their own narratives.

Most importantly: While traditional true crime profits from tragedy after victims are gone, we're demonstrating how documentation becomes healing when victims control their own stories. This is narrative therapy meets community justice meets technological innovation.

Your support gets us to Comic-Con where I present both my entertainment innovations AND this living proof that communities can fund their own liberation without waiting for posthumous documentaries.

The Active Obstruction of Justice

The police didn't just refuse to help - they actively obstructed:

  • Protected perpetrators

  • Deleted CAD narratives

  • Turned off body cameras

  • Triggered Internal Affairs and POST investigations

What we have on tape:

  • Deputy saying "it's civil" when it was actually a crime

  • Sgt. Tafoya's 7x evading my pleas to open a police investigation

  • Internal Affairs admission that the case was not handled correctly

  • CA Attorney General officials identity denials when I called them directly for help

  • CalVCB discriminatory practices of turning away victims of crimes when it isn’t “violent”

Each recording unlocks as community reaches funding milestones

The Cost of Documentation

As a neurodivergent survivor of sexual assault, editing this evidence has been both empowering and profoundly triggering. Each audio clip represents not just proof of systematic failure, but relived trauma. I've cried through every edit, feeling again the devastating isolation of being gaslit by those sworn to protect.

This is what accountability documentation requires: survivors retraumatizing themselves to create undeniable evidence. The same neurodivergent traits that made me a target - my need for clarity, my pattern recognition, my inability to accept illogical responses - also made me document everything.

When you support this series, you're not just funding justice. You're acknowledging the profound emotional labor required to transform systematic trauma into systematic accountability. Every tear shed editing this evidence waters the seeds of transformation.

Why This Notice Lives on the Blockchain

After 194 days of deleted emails, unanswered calls, and "lost" documentation, we're done playing by rules designed to exhaust victims into silence. This notice is published on the immutable blockchain because:

  • They can't claim they didn't receive it

  • They can't delete it when administrations change

  • They can't bury it in bureaucracy

  • The community witnesses it in real-time

Every piece of evidence in this series will be preserved on-chain. Try to erase us now.

Beyond Episode 1: The Liberation Infrastructure

This campaign represents the inaugural implementation of a broader strategic framework for community-driven justice. We're not just funding one case - we're prototyping systematic transformation.

The Strategic Evolution:

  • Phase 1 (Now): Emergency victim services through community funding

  • Phase 2: Expanded legal funding campaigns for strategic litigation

  • Phase 3: Liberation DAO infrastructure enabling coordinated accountability

  • Phase 4: Replicable frameworks transforming how communities achieve justice

What This Means: Your contribution doesn't just unlock evidence - it validates a model where communities circumvent institutional gatekeeping through transparent, collective action. Both criminal AND civil violations deserve accountability. Traditional systems fail both. We're building the alternative.

The Revolutionary Reality: While traditional crowdfunding creates one-time charity, we're architecting sustainable infrastructure where each campaign strengthens the next, creating compound community power.
