In the beginning

** The most common virus among conscious beings is the search for meaning. Most interestingly, the cure to such problems is to abandon the relevant questions altogether. Western philosophy flipped this paradigm on its head and once again asked us to ask the deepest questions concerning truth, beauty, and goodness. We should all strive to achieve the archetype of the philosopher king, and create our own meaning. Advances in science and technology have dulled the need for our immediate survival instincts, and complex political systems prevent us from killing each other (for the most part). Now is the best time to be a human in the history of the universe.

The writing that ensues on this blog represents a cross-section of the thoughts flooding my brain. View it as my attempt to escape Plato’s Cave and fully embrace humanity.**
