Hello Flix Fam, 2024 is here and so is OmniFlix’s prep. for the same.
This year's efforts are directed at shaping OmniFlix as the Interchain Media Hub. Each action aligns with this vision and lays the foundation for future initiatives.
A roadmap for the community will be released every quarter. Adjustments will be made to ensure alignment with ongoing progress.
We will be starting off Q1 - 2024 with focus on introducing creators & developers to the media infrastructure on OmniFlix Hub.
Launch of OmniFlix Hub (v2) with the Cosmos SDK v47, ics721 or interchain NFTs, support for x/NFTs and cw721 NFTs & more
Launch of CosmWasm on OmniFlix Hub along with the first set of contracts in a few days/weeks from the launch of CosmWasm
Focus on education and engagement with OmniFlix TV
Education -- working with communities to bring sovereign publishing platforms for educating communities.
Engagement -- working with communities to run marketing and awareness campaigns using OmniFlix TV or a sovereign implementation.
This quarter will be dedicated to enhance the experience for creators and communities that are using video and audio as the means to build their communities.
Introduce contracts that are focused on publishing for video content creators.
Work towards demonstrating a preview social coordination within media management, distribution & monetization of media using Media DAOs on OmniFlix Hub.
Aiming to launch the 2024 edition of the FlixDrop to attract a wider range of web2/web3 creators and web3 enthusiasts.
In this quarter we will be focusing on increasing the ability for node hosts to participate in the direct decentralization of physical infrastructure on the network.
Introduce the OmniFlix Media Node to enable stakeholders to participate to offer storage, compute for rendering/encoding and other media-specific activities that might be required.
A preview (i.e. the design and architecture) of IP Licensing Contracts will be seen in this quarter with progress around publishing & DAOs contracts as the core focus.
The focus in Q4 - 2024 is to consolidate all engineering and business development efforts from prev. quarters.
If tested and audited, launch IP Licensing Contracts with support for Interchain NFTs (i.e.) use any NFT on any chain to license the same with certain limitations.
Expand the limited member Media Node Host network and once in place, aim to push for increased adoption.
