Hey Fam, we are buidling infrastructure and the tools for creators and communities!
We’re focused on how we can break the mould when it comes the possibilities and applications of NFTs. Following the release of our announcements on our keynote from Cosmoverse 2022, we have been busy with delivering on our roadmap.
Without further ado, let’s dive right into the updates from last week and all that’s to come this week.
Last week’s focus was primarily around the dragonberry patch and thanks to our validators, we were able to successfully upgrade with a private and a public patch across the network. The latest version of the OmniFlix Hub binary is v0.4.2
From a backend engineering standpoint the data layer now has the capabilities to track USD value of various supported tokens and is ready present data points around royalties, splits, USD values, etc. to enable collectors take a well informed decision.
The front end engineering team has initiated work on Wallet Connect updates to optimize fees being used for transactions.
Efforts around CosmWasm and StreamSwap have continued and this week and hope to see concrete results in 2 weeks.
Continued discussions on the use of CosmWasm are also underway, thanks to the efforts of the blockchain and protocol teams internally.
Efforts to kick start the incentivized testnet with auctions on FlixNet-4 have been initiated. Details will be announced on 20th October, 2022.
The product design team has focused on the revamped version of OmniFlix TV and is working on the client interfaces (or UI) within OmniFlix TV before moving to updates within OmniFlix Studio for publishing.
A revamp for the enterprise version of OmniFlix Studio was also underway and is being implemented in an existing partner, that’s a Movie Distribution Studio.
We have also received inputs and suggestions from community members like Tangled NFTs (Ness) who shared ideas on how the market should look like.

Cosmoverse 2022 Content Library: After the smashing success of the biggest Cosmos event of the year, which was powered by OmniFlix, we are working with the Cosmoverse Team to bring all the videos for the projects & communities, and yes, they will be available as NFTs.
Cosmoverse 2022 POAP NFTs: If you aren’t over the Cosmoverse 2022 hangover, we are bringing you POAP NFTs soon as a souvenir for witnessing Cosmos in the making. These will be released in the next two weeks to attendees.
The Media & Design team have also been working on creatives that will help the community get a quick summary of Creator & Collection focused updates for the week.
