Flix Fam, December is a crucial month for the progress of our work on OmniFlix Apps and new collaborative projects. Here is a brief update on our recent activities and focus for the upcoming week in the Flixverse.
Last week, our primary focus was completing the development and thorough testing of Collection Creation Fee feature, part of the oNFT module on the OmniFlix Hub.
Glad to let the community know that the implementation is fully functional and will soon be deployed on a devnet for integration testing with the OmniFlix Studio app.
As informed last week, the contracts of the protocol are deployed on devnet and are being tested.
There is a new UI that is developed and is being used for testing and a few simulations have been performed by the Deus Labs team. They are currently working to update the contracts based on findings during the testing phase.
Design for the new UI is being worked on and further updates in subsequent weeks.
The team has also focused on the updates of the OmniFlix.market app. Considering the release of auctions, updates are being shipped consistently throughout the week.
This week, the Product Design team worked on two projects: designing the content management system for publishing on OmniFlix TV within OmniFlix Studio, and also continued efforts on updating the UI/UX of the OmniFlix Market app.
Thanks to the promotional efforts of Cosmocon India 2022 partners and creatives by our media team, we were able to garner good traction from veteran and aspiring Cosmonauts and have 200 attendees at the event.
We recently had few debut episodes of our new Twitter Space - #InTheSpotlight, where we bring Creators, Enthusiasts & Guests from different spaces (and time zones) and have an AMA followed by discussions, or even live performances. The media team efforts have been dedicated in building promo collaterals and announcement creatives for the same.

24 hours since Timed NFT Auction went live on the OmniFlix Marketplace module, bidding activity in $OSMO, $ATOM, $JUNO & $HUAHUA have started taking place. With this feature, Creators & Communities will be able to launch their NFT collection and also release some NFTs on auction mode, giving a chance for the project followers to bid and compete for the assets they want to mint.
#InTheStudio is a creator space, held every Friday with the creator community of OmniFlix Network. Participants of the space are eligible to claim a proof of attendance NFT by answering a secret phase announced during the space.

The protocol engineering team will continue work towards testing the Collection Creation Fee on a devnet along with ICA.
The efforts around the StreamSwap protocol continue.
The application team is focused on the updates to the OmniFlix Market app.
The StreamSwap UI is also being worked on and the entire crew is contributing on different fronts.
The focus for the week is to continue efforts to update the OmniFlix Market app while working on the OmniFlix Studio experience for publishers.
This week’s focus from a media standpoint would be on creating collaterals for promoting OmniFlix Market features - listing in Multiple IBC tokens to choose from, Auction feature, as well as work on the creatives and branding for our upcoming platform - StreamSwap.
