Flix Fam, Here are all the updates from last week and the focus for this week, within the Flixverse!

• After completely testing the Collection Creation Fee on devnet, the team has shifted focus to sort out tech-debt and plan for the way forward.

  • With respect to Collection Creation Fee, the plan is to deploy the same on a devnet internally and integrate the same with the UI.

  • Once integrated with the UI and tested, the same can be deployed to mainnet aligned with the deployment of interchain accounts (ICA).

• Along with this, the protocol engineering team has been focused to plan the premise and base details required for the mechanism for Flix Drop. Details are being worked upon and the teams will have more information in the subsequent weeks.

This week’s updates to the StreamSwap development covers devnet, Contracts, UI, Design updates & other details associated with the development, testing and deployment of the StreamSwap Protocol.

1. devnet

   1. The devnet is currently deployed and two version of contracts have been deployed and tested in the last two weeks.

   2. Both contracts have been integrated with the UI during the testing process.

2. Contracts

   1. The development of the contracts continue. The deployment and testing process exposed a few areas where there was work required.

   2. Although almost done with the core logic, we are almost 2 weeks away from the entire codebase being finalized.

3. Design

   1. The design process continues and after the components, the team has initiated work on the pages which will involve users to participate in a StreamSwap Sale.

   2. The design is also focused on having a seamless yet fluid experience during the interactions with the protocol.

4. UI Development

   1. Current state of UI development saw two apps

      1. An app (bare bones) just for testing the UI and has incorporated most of the interactions with the StreamSwap protocol.

      2. An app (polished) for sharing it internally and externally as possible to test the StreamSwap protocol itself.

5. Testing

   1. Unit tests for the contracts are being worked and required testing is on-going on the devnet.

   2. More simulations will be tested in subsequent weeks and testing will continue this week too.

• The Application Engineering team are focused on the overhaul of OmniFlix.market. Each update is being pushed to deployment as and when there are any. The current rate at which features and UI is deployed will continue this week and until the overhaul is fully completed.

• The Application Engineering team are also aligned with the design team to work on the latest apps around OmniFlix TV and related updates within OmniFlix Studio for publishing.

• The team worked on what are updates to the OmniFlix TV and OmniFlix Studio. • The media team produced creatives for OmniFlix Apps and a video dedicated to the $JUNO community highlighting collections listed and features to explore on OmniFlix Market.

With the launch of Timed Auctions feature on OmniFlix Marketplace Module, Juggernauts will now be able to not just mint and sell NFTs in $JUNO, but also create auctions listing and place bid NFTs using $JUNO. And that’s not even the best part. There are 42+ NFT Collections on OmniFlix.Market that have listings in $JUNO. So if you are holding some $JUNO, what are you waiting for ?

OmniFix Network is building the ticketing platform for $ATOM Santo Domingo Meet-up taking place at Cultura Cervecera on December 18. We are glad to be involved in growing communities in the LATAM region and working with them post Cosmoverse 2022.

Fam, there was good progress last week and this week too it’ll be heads down building before we can get to further releases. The focus for this week across various teams are:

• The core focus for the protocol team this week is to plan the mechanism required for the FlixDrop.

• Efforts on CosmWasm and StreamSwap continue.

• The primary focus for one half of the team this week are the updates being rolled out to the OmniFlix.market app.

• The focus for the other half of the team is to ensure integration of the StreamSwap contracts with the UI for testing. Along with the faucet, other updates to display data points and details about the stream will be worked on as well.

• The focus for the week is to continue efforts to update the OmniFlix Market app while working on the OmniFlix Studio experience for publishers.

• This week’s focus from a media standpoint would be to work on Cosmocon India collaterals.

• Video for $OSMO, $HUAHUA & $ATOM community to explore NFT collections and features on OmniFlix.Market.

• We had an amazing last week with Flix Talk #48 where details of the community updates were discussed.

• The InTheStudio #30 episode featured genesis creators - @Tanglednfts, @RILnftart & @ohhNFT who have recently launched new collections on OmniFlix Market. The creators talked about the roadmap and inspiration behind their projects and answered questions from the community.
