The Qwen SKYST Hackathon will be held from 21st to 29th November 2025. Sign up before the 22nd November to get involved, build a project using FLock.io’s API Platform and win up to $5,000!
FLock.io, Base’s largest AI infrastructure protocol, is hosting the hackathon in collaboration with Base and Alibaba Cloud’s Qwen. We invite students, developers, content creators and whoever is interested in developing Base and AI applications.
The demo day will be held in Seoul, South Korea, with online attendance also possible.
It's an opportunity to support app builders and share with the community to invigorate Base's diverse application ecosystem. While the previous Qwen SKYST Hackathon was a datathon focused on creating AI models, this hackathon involves building actual user-ready applications utilising those models in the form of Base Mini Apps.
[ 👋 Hi there! If you’re here to find out more about FLock.io, follow us on X, read our docs and sign up to AI Arena on train.flock.io]
There are two tracks. Both use the FLock API Platform, which is similar to the OpenAI API, and build a Base Mini App.
Hackathon Track 1: Build an AI Application utilizing FLock.io’s API Platform as a Base Mini App.
Hackathon Track 2: Build an AI Application/Agent utilising FLock.io’s API Platform and x402.
The Kickoff Session will have a vibe coding tutorial on both building a Base Mini App and utilising the FLock.io API Platform. See a Vibe Master demo video and the website.
Projects will be judged on the following criteria: application quality (30%), FLock API utilisation (30%), novelty (20%) and practicality (20%). Teams will need to produce a 5-min presentation and demo of the application (video), presentation slides (PDF) and projection details.
