It's been 480 days I'm in warpcast, instantly clicked the moment I used it, UI was intuitive from the get-go. I also tried Mastodon, Bluesky, and Lenster (now it's Hey), but couldn't get a grip on what's actually happening on the platform respectively.

I was browsing for MacOS & iOS warpcast download links like the rest of the apps mentioned above, but couldn't find one until I found out on twitter that it's gatekept by Dan Bromero. Dan xrayed my twitter account, got in, voila.

What's most important for me during the inception of a social app interaction is getting replies from humans with human replies, warpcast was the only one at that point of time, I had no significant number of followers on twitter to be brought over, no substack, nada, just an enthusiatic-trying-to-live-on-the-edge casual tech user and a casual 'cryptoartist' who made it to NFT.NYC 2023 and 2024 and a few other cryptoart galleries.

I love trying out new apps and dapps, it gives me the dopamine and especially high when the dapp's UI and functionality just clicks the first time I use it like when I discovered Paragraph.xyz, it's mentally jarring that majority of web3 users are still using mirror.xyz (seriously what is wrong with you folks 🫠).

I also discovered a lot of dapps that I use regularly, such as:
• onceupon.gg
• far.quest
• airstack.xyz
• vasco.wtf
• interface.social

There are a plethora of testflight apps & dapps that I use not as regular, but still use them nevertheless, depending on use case.

A big plus point on warpcast, at least to me, a lot of founders are active and they actually reply you sincerely, wowow. They also look for feedback actively and the ones I follow so far, they don't shy away from critiques and know it's necessary for their products to grow.
Many more positive things to write about warpcast, too many to fit into this brief personal experience blog.

Watching warpcast grew into what it is now really felt like watching your favorite tv show character grew up from season to season; better acting, nuanced expression, changes in hairstyles, BTS drama, etc.

I haven't met any person I interacted with in warpcast, I wish I can in the future when time and location allows, since I'm in SEA and all the real actions are in US and EU.
