In this guide, we are going to show you how to mint NFTs on Base network through Freee.xyz.

Before we begin, let us ensure that you have the necessary "tools" available. In order to Mint NFTs on Base network, you will need:

• An Ethereum wallet with Base network setup (Base Mainnet), we will be showing setup on 2 wallets below:

  1. Coinbase Wallet

  2. MetaMask Wallet

• Bridge your asset to Base Mainnet.
  NOTE: You will need to have balance of Base Mainnet in your wallet for you to pay for gas fee + platform fee during mint.

The Coinbase Wallet provides support for Base network by default. Coinbase wallet is available for following platforms:

• iOS

• Android

• Chrome Extension

• Brave Extension

Head to to Coinbase wallet official website and follow provided download link for each platform.

To use Base network with Coinbase Wallet:

1. Download and open the Coinbase Wallet browser extension.

2. Create a wallet or import your existing wallet, and you’re ready to go.

Base Mainnet can be added as a custom network to any EVM-compatible wallet. We will use MetaMask as an example here, choose either method below:

Method 1 : Quick Instructions (Using provided link by Basescan)

1. Go to the Base Explorer at basescan.org

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Add Base Mainnet button locate at the bottom left corner.

3. Approve adding the network in the MetaMask prompt that opens.

Method 2 : Manual Instructions (Add custom network in MetaMask)

1. Open the MetaMask browser extension.

2. Open the network selection dropdown menu by clicking the dropdown button at the top-left section of the extension.

3. Click on Add network button.

4. On new page opened, Click Add a network manually at the end of available network list.

5. In the Add a network manually dialog that appears, enter the following information for Base Mainnet.

   Network Name: Base Mainnet

   RPC Endpoint: https://mainnet.base.org

   Chain ID: 8453

   Currency Symbol: ETH

   Block Explorer: https://base.blockscout.com

6. Tap the Save button to save Base Mainnet as a network.

7. You should now be able to connect to the Base Mainnet by selecting it from the network dropdown.

Once your wallet supports the Base network, you’ll be ready to bridge assets (ETH) to the Base.

1. Go to superbridge.app/base

2. Connect your wallet, select asset type and fill in amount you want to bridge over to Base Mainnet.

3. Click on Deposit button and approve the prompt from your wallet.

4. After transaction successfully processed, you can check your balance directly in your wallet.

NOTE: Superbrigde.app is recommended by Base official. Check out official link here.

Once your wallet is setup and you have sufficient balance, you’re ready to mint NFT on Base network on Freee.

1. First, head to freee.xyz find Freee Genesis On Base collection, an official collection by Freee which is on FREE mint OR follow this direct link. Optionally, you can mint any Base network’s NFT collection launched on Freee.

2. Select an amount and click on the Free Mint button.
   Note: You will be prompt with a Connect Wallet button if you haven’t connected yet. Follow wallet prompt to connect your wallet.

3. Double check on the fee breakdown displayed, confirm by click on the Free Mint button once again and approve wallet prompt.

4. You got your Freee Genesis On Base minted to your wallet!
   Note: You can view minted item by clicking on your profile gravatar at top-right corner of the page. On the drop down pop out, select Your Profile and minted item is reside in Collected section.

For every NFT you mint on Freee, you will be rewarded 20 Freee Diamonds. To claim, join the Freee Airdrop Season 1 by navigate to Airdrop page from the top menu or follow this direct link.

To join Freee Airdrop Season 1:

1. Get an invite code from your friend. Optionally, you can use FREEE as your invite code.

2. Complete all 4 required steps

   1. Follow @Freeexyz on X

   2. Connect your wallet

   3. Sign message in wallet (for verification purpose)

   4. Join the Freee Discord

3. You’re in. Your Freee Points from minting will automatically added into your account.

You may earn more Freee Diamonds or Points by:

• Minting NFT on Freee, each mint on Base network get you 20 Purple Diamonds . Freee.xyz is having diamond boosting for certain NFT collections for limited time. Minting those NFT will earn you extra diamonds. For example, Freee Genesis on Base is having 1.5X diamond boosting now, each mint will earn you 30 Purple Diamonds instead of 20.

• Share specified post on X to earn 200 Freee points.
