FriendTech gained thousands of users within days, even in the depths of a bear market, showing that there is real demand for SocialFi.
But FriendTech was just the first step. It showed the appetite, not the full design space.
FriendSpace builds on that foundation with modular, on-chain infrastructure. Tokenized access to gated rooms, but with flexible room mechanics. Built for traders, builders, and communities who treat attention like the asset it is.
Welcome to FriendSpace, built by FriendTech survivors.
FriendSpace is a modular platform for on-chain creator markets. At its core, users buy and sell “keys” to unlock gated rooms and features. Each room operates on a customisable bonding curve that reflects supply and demand, creating natural markets around creators, communities, and tokens.
Not every creator fits the same mold. Some want to launch tokens, others want to show off their trading skills, and others simply want to share alpha or coordinate communities.
By keeping rooms modular and composable, we give creators the freedom to build their own flows while keeping the platform lightweight and extensible. New room types will be added based on what creators and their holders actually want. Some initial room types:
Trading Rooms: Creators will manage a trading fund connected to their room and use an AI-assisted agent to execute trades on HyperLiquid. Key holders have visibility into performance and vote by majority on when profits are paid out. This gives the community both earnings and governance over returns.
Social Rooms: Token-gated spaces enabling one-to-many communication, inspired by the FriendTech model. Think of it as a focused town square between a KOL and their most invested followers.
We believe great infrastructure should be invisible. Users shouldn’t have to think about it; everything should just work. As longtime FriendTech users, we know how frustrating it can be when a platform is slow, clunky, or unintuitive. Those moments break your flow and pull you out of the experience.
That’s why we built FriendSpace’s chat and core features from the ground up, prioritizing speed, simplicity, and scalability. Our clean interface, low-latency messaging, and robust backend ensure you can focus on what matters: connecting, trading, and building.
In future articles, we’ll introduce more platform mechanics, and more rooms. The design is composable, so the ecosystem can grow organically, not through feature bloat, but through modular extensions.
In Web2, and currently even in Web3, following a creator is a one-way street. You consume their content, or maybe drop a like or comment. But there's no real upside for being early.
SocialFi flips that.
When access becomes tokenized, you're not just passively watching a creator. Now, you’re actively speculating on their trajectory. Buying their key is a bet on their relevance. The better they perform, the more demand they attract, and the more your position is worth.
It’s the same instinct that drives early investing, but applied to Creators instead of traditional shares or tokens. You become an active participant in their success, with direct exposure to their upside.
That’s the unlock. SocialFi works because you’re no longer just following a creator. You’re long on their influence, and share in the value they create. Early entry gets you exposure and key prices reflect attention in real time. Creator wins, holders win, and the whole flywheel spins.
This is the first of a series of articles that explains our ethos, and what we’re building. Stay tuned for more info on platform mechanics, our points program, and how to get invite-only access to our beta.
