The core gameplay mechanics of the game revolve around interactive elements. These include plots, maps, scenes, and players. Both paying and free players can access the same character and growth content, but paying players enjoy enhanced interactive experiences.

In version v0.27, players explore a vast map featuring towns, forests, swamps, snow mountains, towers, dungeons, and more. Interactive objects encompass NPCs, monsters, ores, teleporters, doors, and other players.

Players interact with NPCs to engage in item transactions, skill learning, plot initiation, and task acceptance. Monsters and ores are integral to combat and collection. Players employ mouse buttons for combos and number keys for skills and items in enemy encounters.

Drops👨‍🌾

In the game, the top left displays three essential resources: Gold coins, Time Crystals, and BIGTIME tokens.

Gold coins can be acquired through battles, completing tasks, trading loot, or mining. They're used for purchasing regular in-game equipment and items.

In the game's primary user interface, situated in the upper right corner next to the map, you'll find three key resources: Gold Coins, Time Crystals, and BIGTIME Tokens.

• Gold Coins are earned through various in-game activities like defeating monsters, completing quests, trading loot, and mining. They are primarily used for purchasing ordinary in-game equipment and items.

• Time Crystals serve as the primary premium in-game currency, not easily obtainable through regular gameplay. Players mainly acquire them via Open Loot purchases. These Time Crystals are not blockchain assets; once purchased, they're bound to the player's account and cannot be traded on the market. Currently, you can buy 500 Time Crystals for approximately $5 and 13,500 for around $100. Time Crystals are crucial for activating various functional NFTs and are required for tasks within the Arsenal, Forge, and Time Guardian. Additionally, Time Crystals can be used to acquire auxiliary items, such as extra Time Sandglass equipment slots and entry fees for certain Prestige Portals.

• BIGTIME Tokens stand as the most vital core asset in the game, representing the culmination of the entire game's economic system. More details on these tokens will be covered in section 2.4.7.

Beyond these three resources displayed directly in the UI, the game features four additional essential resource elements related to functional NFTs: Cosmetic Shards, Workshop Mod Chips, Prestige Portal Mod Chips, and Cosmetic Scraps.

• Cosmetic Shards are predominantly used to craft or upgrade refined cosmetic NFTs in the Arsenal or Forge. These shards are seasonally available, with new ones released each season for crafting seasonal cosmetic NFTs.

• Workshop Mod Chips are primarily used for exchanging functional NFTs and can also be used to purchase the Bonus Roll feature for functional NFTs.

• Prestige Portal Mod Chips are primarily used for exchanging items within the Prestige Portal's bonus roulette.

• Cosmetic Scraps are typically obtained by dismantling cosmetic NFTs and are mainly used to exchange for Workshop and Prestige Portal Mod Chips.

All four of these resource elements can be obtained by battling enemies in dungeons.

NFT

Within the game, there are two types of NFTs: cosmetic NFTs, which we mentioned in the equipment section, and functional NFTs. The key distinction between the two lies in their purpose. Cosmetic NFTs are products that enhance the visual aspects of in-game items like armor and weapons, elevating the player's experience and showcasing their status. Players with cosmetic NFTs also gain access to exclusive scenes and Prestige Portals, unlocking unique content. To ensure game balance, cosmetic NFTs do not impact the original in-game item stats. On the other hand, functional NFTs are tools used for crafting cosmetic NFTs and generating BIGTIME tokens to maintain the in-game economy.

Cosmetic NFTs are categorized into two types: craftable and non-craftable. The former can be created using functional NFTs, while the latter can only be randomly obtained in-game. Currently, there are three types of functional NFTs: the Forge, Arsenal, and Time Guardian, all accessible within the personal metaverse SPACE. In the Forge and Arsenal, players invest resources such as BIGTIME tokens, Time Crystals, and cosmetic shards to craft and upgrade cosmetic NFTs. For example, three lower-rarity craftable cosmetic NFTs can be exchanged for a higher-rarity craftable cosmetic NFT, which will become a significant part of seasonal competitions.

The Time Guardian is the most intricate functional NFT, used to generate BIGTIME tokens. Players need to first invest Time Crystals to craft Time Hourglasses. Equipping a Time Hourglass and charging it with Time Crystals allows the generation of BIGTIME tokens. Time Hourglasses are consumable, and when depleted, players must recharge them with Time Crystals to continue producing BIGTIME tokens.

In all functional NFT activities, including refinement, crafting, and cosmetic NFT upgrades, players can opt to use a Bonus Roulette, obtained by exchanging Workshop Mod Chips. This Roulette adds extra bonuses to the action and is influenced by the level of the functional NFT. Players can stack multiple different Bonus Roulette bonuses during a single action. Additionally, all activities involving functional NFTs accumulate functional NFT experience points. When these points reach the upgrade threshold, players can pay Time Crystals to enhance their functional NFTs. Upgrading functional NFTs results in increased crafting efficiency, additional Bonus Roulette slots, and bonus effects.

Functional NFTs come in various types, each categorized by color and unique bonus types. The type of functional NFT also corresponds to its rarity, with the top three rarest functional NFTs all belonging to the Triumph category.

Crafting/Forge Issuance

Warden Issuance

In addition to the unique bonuses offered by each functional NFT, players can also gain set bonuses based on the various types of functional NFTs within SPACE. These set bonuses offer rewards similar to individual bonuses and can be stacked. The red set bonus accelerates crafting and refining speed, the blue set bonus reduces BIGTIME consumption during crafting and refining, and the green set bonus adds extra Bonus Roulette slots.

Lastly, it's essential to note that the official stance is that all functional NFTs will have a fixed and unchanging supply. However, new cosmetic NFTs will be introduced on a seasonal basis. The maximum supply of cosmetic NFTs for each season will be determined at the start of that season.

Space 🚀

SPACE is a pivotal game feature that distinguishes between paying and free players, akin to the "land" concept found in other metaverse environments. In the game, players can summon their personal metaverse portals on the map by pressing specific keys. Both free and paying players can have their personal metaverses, but only players with SPACE can perform special actions within the extended space of SPACE.

SPACE currently serves four primary functions:

1. Expanding personal metaverses: SPACE is designed like building blocks, with each SPACE having an entrance and multiple exits. Players must create their personal metaverse through the entrance and then connect to other SPACE or functional NFTs (Arsenal, Forge, and Time Guardian) via the exits. Different-sized SPACE have varying numbers of exits.

2. Using functional NFTs: The Arsenal, Forge, and Time Guardian can only be accessed through SPACE.

3. Displaying cosmetic NFTs: Players can showcase cosmetic NFTs they've acquired during gameplay in their personal metaverse and even customize their display.

4. Acquiring shattered Time Hourglasses: Shattered Time Hourglasses can be used to produce BIGTIME tokens in a single operation.

5. Integrating social features: Players can invite others to visit their personal metaverse and engage in interactions.

SPACE can currently only be obtained through purchase. Additionally, different-sized and rarity-level SPACE have fixed maximum supplies.

The size of SPACE affects the number of exits it has, which, in turn, determines the number of components SPACE can connect to.

With the exception of the Exalted rarity, SPACE comes in three sizes: small, medium, and large, each having 2, 3, and 5 exits, respectively. Exalted rarity SPACE has an extra exit compared to other rarities.

In addition to affecting the number of exits, the rarity also restricts the functional NFTs that can be connected to SPACE. Higher-rarity functional NFTs can only be connected and used on higher-rarity SPACE. SPACE rarity also impacts the rarity and drop rate of shattered Time Hourglasses and the number of shattered Time Hourglasses that can drop based on SPACE size, subsequently influencing the supply of BIGTIME tokens.

In the future, Big Time will introduce a SPACE leasing system to allow more players to experience the richer gaming content SPACE provides.

Game Economy & Mechanics🎮

The game economy in Big Time revolves around the BIGTIME token.

BIGTIME tokens have several key functions:

1. They are used in the Refinement, Crafting, and Upgrading of Cosmetic Shards in the Furnace and Armory to create and enhance Cosmetic NFTs.

2. They are used to pay the entry fees for Prestige Portals.

The total supply of BIGTIME tokens is 5,000,000,000, and they are theoretically generated entirely through in-game activities, not through token sales aimed at investors.

There are three primary methods for obtaining BIGTIME tokens:

1. Players can randomly acquire Cracked Hourglasses as one-time items by exploring their personal SPACE. These Hourglasses can be equipped to produce BIGTIME tokens. Like Time Crystals, Cracked Hourglasses are non-fungible and bound to player accounts, making them non-tradable.

2. Players can spend Time Crystals in the functional NFT Timekeeper to create Hourglasses, which can then be equipped and charged with Time Crystals to generate BIGTIME tokens.

3. Players can acquire already generated BIGTIME tokens through market purchases or team airdrops.

The mechanism for generating BIGTIME tokens ensures that, for the most part, their supply is related to the allocation of in-game resources, thereby maintaining the game's economic model's stability and resilience. As the primary resource input for BIGTIME token production is Time Crystals, which have a fixed price in USD, this guarantees that when the cost of producing BIGTIME tokens exceeds their output, producers will reduce token supply, thus stabilizing the in-game economy. Additionally, the fluctuating price of Hourglasses, dependent on market supply and demand, ensures that BIGTIME token production correlates with market activity, aligning with players' actual demands and increasing the game economy's flexibility.

In addition to BIGTIME tokens, tradeable assets on Open Loot include Cosmetic Shards, SPACE NFTs, Decorative NFTs, and functional NFTs. Therefore, there are two main paths for players to participate in the complete game economic cycle:

1. Defeating monsters and clearing dungeons to obtain Cosmetic Shards for trading on the market.

2. Acquiring non-craftable Cosmetic NFTs from monster drops and trading them on the market.

These paths provide opportunities for free players to engage in the game's full economic cycle. However, due to the low drop rates of NFTs and rare resources in regular dungeons, free players need to invest a significant amount of time and effort. Trading Cosmetic Shards will be one of the few ways free players can genuinely engage in the full game economic cycle without involving blockchain assets, as blockchain assets do not significantly affect the game's balance.

For paying players, how they participate in the game's economic cycle becomes a more strategic consideration. They must determine the most effective resource allocation strategy, involving Time Crystals, BIGTIME tokens, and Cosmetic Shards, to utilize SPACE and functional NFTs to create more Cosmetic NFTs and BIGTIME tokens for trading. Additionally, mechanisms like Prestige Portals enrich the gaming experience for paying players and enhance their involvement in the game.

In summary, Big Time's game economy mechanism is intricately designed, ensuring a stable base with a degree of flexibility. It provides a rich gaming experience for both free and paying players. However, it also places significant demands on players' resource allocation strategies within the game, requiring them to invest resources to find their ideal in-game positioning.

Airdrop✈️

The Big Time team plans to express gratitude to early purchasers of in-game NFTs and early game participants through airdrops.

There are two types of airdrops:

1. The first type is the airdrop of Mystery Crates, with a total of 153,000 crates. Each crate contains a functional NFT with different drop rates based on rarity. Users will receive higher-value airdrops based on factors such as the number of NFTs in their account, their rarity, the total asset value, and their completion of in-game tasks and dungeons.

2. The second type is the airdrop of BIGTIME tokens. According to the Big Time airdrop plan, the total airdrop will amount to 2.6% of the total supply, which is 130,000,000 BIGTIME tokens. During the pre-season, the official team will distribute 97,500,000 BIGTIME tokens, with the remainder allocated for other airdrops and marketing plans. These airdrops will take place in the first three months following the start of the pre-season, and the amount of the airdrop will be based on users' real-time point rankings within their accounts. Points in user accounts will be calculated based on the following activities:

3. In-game level upgrades, with higher levels resulting in greater point rewards.

4. The use of utility NFTs, including actions such as refining cosmetic shards, crafting cosmetics, crafting hourglasses, recharging hourglasses, and disassembling broken hourglasses.

5. Participation in Prestige Portals.

6. Inviting friends, where inviting players can earn 50% of the invited player's points as a reward.

In simple terms, the more a player engages in Big Time, the more collectibles they possess, and the higher their chances of receiving airdrops and richer rewards. However, specific details about the airdrops may undergo further adjustments by the Big Time team in the future.

Season Rewards🥇

After the open beta, Big Time will follow a season-based update schedule, with each major update occurring every 90 days. Each major update will include the following content:

1. Brand new fixed quantities of cosmetic NFTs, both craftable and non-craftable.

2. New season-specific cosmetic shards and refined cosmetic shards.

3. Fresh special events and gameplay content.

In addition to this, every season will feature a cosmetic NFT synthesis competition known as the "Peerless Challenge." During each season, only one Peerless (Unique) rarity cosmetic NFT will be available. Players who craft this unique cosmetic NFT first will win the season's competition. Following Big Time's cosmetic rarity system, crafting a Peerless rarity cosmetic will require the use of 19,683 common to future rarity cosmetics. Big Time may introduce more activities to encourage players or guilds to participate in this competition.
