Canadian tech company ChainSafe has launched Forest, a Rust-based Filecoin client, in beta on the Filecoin mainnet. It can also be used as an alternative client on the Filecoin network to check status. The beta version has fixed 16 vulnerabilities audited by Sigma Prime and is currently awaiting the final audit report. The beta also includes features such as message pooling, state manager, JSON-RPC server and more.
