TOPL differential itself among defi and web3 projects since its targets is to use digital technical to enable real economy and change the current supply chain interest relationship. Hereby is a keynote of its whitepaper, since I also designed some related blockchain + agriculture project of sourcing and target to keep more value to peasants from the intermedia, I personally hope this project can succeed. However there is no any financial investment recommendation and DYOR.

VIRTUAL REALITY ADAPTING COFFEE SUPPLY C H A I N S T O C O V I D - 1 9 A whitepaper exploring how blockchains enable transparency and reinforce trust in coffee ecosystems.

Problem

 新冠疫情对全球供应链造成冲击,显示现有的供应链信息保存和处理已经过时  The COVID-19 exposed the fragility of outdated record-keeping systems  贸易禁运使得传统依赖第三方进行验证的方式遭遇挑战,特别对于咖啡这种跨国跨地区的供应链  Travel bans pose an intractable challenge to third-party certification and verification practices. Especially for complex agri-food supply chains like coffee  尽管数字化提高了透明,但是由于供应链各方都有各自矛盾的利益驱动,因此其提供的数据可信程度存疑  Digitalization and increased transparency while each of the many actors along the supply chain may have competing incentives, which can affect the data they log  总结:需要一种机制保证供应链各方在不泄露隐私信息的前提下提供可信数据并不需要第三方验证。  Summary: How to ensure every actor can be included and trust the data they produced without verifying the claims.

背景 Background 1、 目标用户:咖啡豆小农场主 1、 Target user: smallholder coffee farmers  制造全球大部分咖啡豆产量(70%-80%)  produce an overwhelming majority (70-80%)  在传统供应链中处于最脆弱的地位(契约奴役、童工、缺乏资源、地下经济)  almost always the most vulnerable link in supply chains(indentured slavery/ child labor/less well resourced/informal economy)  无直接出口渠道,受到多达20个中间人的盘剥和6个月的账期  No direct access to export markets and suffer 20+ middlemen and 6 months stand  因此,小农场主只能从他们的产品中获得不成比例的低收益  Therefore, smallholder farmers only get a disproportionately small cut of the wealth from their product

2、 Consumer: ETHICAL COFFEE IN THE AGE OF ESG  千禧一代和Z世代更注重良心消费,即他们消费的产品如何影响社会和环境  Millennials and Generation Z are more care of conscious consumerism—how their consumption impacts socially and environmentally.  与之相应的,很多大公司给他们的农产品标识各类环保和社会责任标识,但是却缺乏有效手段监管这些标识是否真实  Consequently, big company add in house green and fair certification on their product to gain business advantage with few mechanisms to ensure its reality. People visit farm to address the certification problem. This is expensive and imperfect especially after COVID-19  总结,无论是统一认证(第三方)还是直接交易都不能解决问题  Summary, neither global certification nor direct trade really address the issue.

 Digitized supply chain solutions offer no means of verification for reported data. Since the anti-aligned economic incentives for buyers and sellers. In coffee supply chains, yield and payments can be misreported.  区块链技术通过提供无(需中介提供的)信任透明来帮助这个困境,通过去除中介,区块链技术本身提供了数据验证和交易中介的功能  Blockchain, through trustless, provides verifier of authenticity and the mediator of exchange, which can remove the need of middlemen for a transaction  区块链技术提供各类数字资产的全生命周期链上可信数据  Blockchain provide lifecycle of digital asset on chain record  区块链技术可以根据数据提供可信证明而不泄露数据本身  Blockchains offer a secure way to immutably capture information with history and to share proof of that data without revealing the data itself.

Solution

TOPL blockchain target:to bring transparency and verifiability to claims around ethical coffee production and smallholder farmer inclusion

 可获得性:区块链不能被有权一方控制,需要保证所有人可以访问;同时对于访问终端不能设置过高的技术性能门槛,保证乡村环境下的小农场主可以访问  Accessibility:We need a solution that works equally in the favor of everyone, and cannot be controlled, manipulated, or weaponized by more powerful supply chain participants. And low-tech accessible should be available for remote and rural nature

Low Cost:The blockchain solution is not crypto-based but tied to the assets created or transferred over the network.

参与人个人信息隐私保护与链上数据公开  Public verifiability: public blockchains where individual identities will remain obscured, while the proof of data entered on chain will remain publicly available.

Data granularity:A blockchain satisfy illustrate the entire journey of a crop—from bean to brew.

What might a blockchain implementation look like in a coffee supply chain?”

 农场主使用其自有数字身份登录并关联所有相关数据,农场主通过自有身份数字签名为其提高的数据担保,同时并不泄露其个人隐私  The farmer uses his self-sovereign identity to associate all related data to provide more trustable claim on data while not leak his privacy  农场主通过终端设备上传包括图片等信息并与地理信息标识关联  The farmer use his smartphone to upload pictures with geo-tagged to form a history of the bean cultivation  农场主将收成送至清洗站,清洗站称重并扫描农场主app的二维码输入重量。农场主确认重量后,通过当日价格完成双向交易(咖啡从农场主到清洗站,电子货币则打入农行主账户)  The farmer take the coffee to washing station where the attendant input the quantity into the farmer’s app via QR scan and confirmed by farmer. Then a twin transfer on topl blockchain happen. (coffee from farmer to washing station and e-money to farmer account)  交易和支付历史将为农场主建立信用  Payment history will establish a credit for the farmer  整个咖啡的生产和交易历史都可以记录上链,消费者通过扫描二维码可以获得可信的咖啡生产和销售溯源信息  The whole chain of produce and channel can be recorded on chain. Costumer can get reliable information via QR scan

结论 Conclusion

TOPL is target to be the first ESG layer 1 blockchain to address supply chain, coffee is the first, and can empower alternative credit scores and create a carbon credit market.
