¡Viva La Revolución! Crypto hearts are alive and well at Devconnect 2025. We’re starting straight with the conference takeaways, where our event set the tone from day one: familiar faces, investor talks, and Latino beats.

Our takeaways:
Communities are bullish and thriving: OGs like Coinage keep delivering top-tier crypto news, and Kernel is running one of its most productive KB11 fellowships.
More stablecoin talk (see our prev update "Stablecoins!").
LATAM users are ready for more FinTech and Web2.5 products, where Peanut and Mural Pay are leading on wallets, payouts, and ramps.
Side events delivered and the venue was huge, but poor Internet created real friction (people were struggling to join Aave’s new app waitlist and claim merch).
Rachael's takeaways (some echo ours):

GCRx helps you set up investments easily, wherever you are.
Whether you’re starting a small syndicate or opening a venture arm, we cut the noise. See GCRx Early Access for Syndicates.

Vitalik unveiled Kohaku, Ethereum’s native, compliance-aware privacy framework, arguably the clearest path yet to private-by-default UX on mainnet.
As Joseph Young explains in his tweet, the flow is intuitive:
Bob links a stealth keypair to his public wallet;
Alice derives a one-time stealth address from that key and sends funds;
Bob scans and claims, and the ephemeral address expires.
Net effect: actions are private by default, and links can be disclosed only if needed for audits or regulation.

Why this matters now?
User demand is spiking: privacy-related searches are soaring in 2025; on-chain, Zcash shielded pool balances and Railgun flows are hitting new highs.
The ecosystem is mobilizing: the Ethereum Foundation launched a privacy team and SDK (Kohaku), Paxos + Aleo announced USAD (a private, compliant stablecoin), Zashi integrated Near Intents for privacy-preserving swaps, Noir dev activity is up, and OFAC rolled back its 2022 Tornado Cash sanctions.
Privacy should be baseline, not a bolt-on. Kohaku pushes privacy to the infrastructure layer so products can ship payments, subscriptions, and gated access with minimal data, selective disclosure, and audit-ready proofs.
We are wrapping 2025 events and mapping the 2026 circuit. If you are lining up a raise or spinning up a syndicate and want stablecoin-native SPVs with fast onboarding, ping us and we will find time.
Invest together.
Best,
Arthur and the GCRx Team
