If you’ve been watching the on-chain gaming space, Gigaverse is the project that keeps coming up. Built by the GLHFers team, it’s a browser-based RPG running on the Abstract blockchain. And it’s already live for anyone to jump in.
Run dungeons, craft gear, go fishing, hatch pets, compete in events and trade loot. But underneath that simplicity is a surprisingly deep ecosystem with on-chain assets, real economic stakes, and a narrative shaped by Gigus Maximus, a sentient AI antagonist who watches your every move from the moment you log in.
Design philosophy: Keep it easy enough for anyone to enjoy. Give players the thrill of risk and the satisfaction of reward. Lean hard into pixel nostalgia and a timeless RPG story you help write.
Gigaverse is an MMORPG set inside a seemingly infinite multiverse. Players earn their way through a world by defeating enemies, leveling up and building their character. The game blends classic RPG progression with genuine blockchain ownership of every item, character name, and collectible you accumulate.

The game runs on Abstract, a consumer-focused blockchain with fast transactions and very low friction.
There’s no official roadmap. The GLHF team ships updates on a rolling basis. That agility has already produced a game with dungeons, fishing, crafting, factions, pets (giglings), an in-game marketplace, and a conquest layer. All growing organically.
Gigaverse is intentionally easy to get into. You don’t need deep Web3 knowledge. Just a wallet, a small amount of ETH and a name.
Create an Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) OR connect Abstract chain-supported EVM wallet. Head to gigaverse.io and you’ll be prompted to connect or to setup your wallet. You can simply setup a new wallet via email address. This serves as your account, item vault, and gateway to every Abstract-based app.
2. Fund your wallet with ETH. You’ll need a small amount of 0.0055 ETH on abstract chain to cover the cost of minting your username and gas fees. This is a one-time account setup fee.
You can either bridge from any chain and/or pay directly via Stripe right at the sign up page.
If you have a Noob Pass NFT, you can burn it here for free access.
3. Mint your username. Every player gets a unique on-chain username as part of the sign-up. Lock in your noob identity.
4. Choose a faction. This choice is not permanent. Factions influence different aspects of the gameplay such as crafting, event entries, conquest mechanics, etc. However, you can switch factions in-game thus you do not need to stress about it right away.
5. Start playing. Head to the dungeon, start fishing, or explore the game.
Gigaverse has several game modes & activities, each consuming energy, materials and feeding back rewards, materials, and progression. All of it is tied together with player-to-player trading.
Dungetron 5000 is a rogue-lite dungeon with rooms and floors, each containing progressively more difficult enemies. The combat runs on a rock-paper-scissors system. Each turn, you and the enemy choose one of three moves. The winner’s move activates fully; the loser’s does nothing and they take damage.

40 energy per run with a daily run cap. Beat enemies, collect loot, climb floors. Dying resets your run but you keep any items already dropped into your inventory. Currently two types of dungeons: Normal and Underhaul
A card-based movement prediction mode for catching fish. Cast your line, use fishing spells, and reel in fish. A calmer loop with steady progression and music — great for sessions when you don’t want the pressure of dungeon runs. Entry costs 12/15/20 energy per run with a daily run cap.

Turn gathered materials into consumables at the Alchemy Bench and into gear and equipment at the Work Bench.
Alchemy Bench: Each consumable crafting attempt has a success rate. Higher-tier consumables require higher-tier materials.

Work Bench: Gear and equipment have a 100% success rate. Higher-tier materials required for higher-tier gears.

Conquest is a social, team based pvp game mode. Conquest’s map, event structure, and game mechanics can change from one Conquest to the next. Coordinate with your Faction to capture & hold as much territory as you can within the Conquest map.

Players need Faction Stubs to play Conquest. These are dropped in dungeons and fishing. There may be more ways to get Faction Stubs in the future.
The Hatchery Station is where players hatch and feed their Gigaverse Giglings Eggs & Pets, as well as cook food from fish they’ve caught.

A fully on-chain player-to-player marketplace. List items, hunt for deals, and participate in the real economy of Gigaverse.

ROMs are the primary NFT collectibles in Gigaverse. These are long-term alignment NFTs that generate energy and exclusive faction resources weekly which are otherwise not possible to obtain by just playing the game. Higher-tier ROMs produce more output. ROM holders also contribute to the weekly Abstract XP snapshot and receive increased shard and dust output when using Giga Juice.

The GLHFers is a cultural gaming pfp collection living on Ethereum and the foundation of the GLHFers community. Currently they do not have any direct benefits in Gigaverse game. GLHFers have their own district features such as an auctioneer system, strategy token and more in the works which are usually reliant on the requests of the holders.

Giglings is the pet collection of Gigaverse. There will be several types of Giglings over time in Gigaverse. Giglings start as Eggs and go through a hatching process before they can be utilized. Currently, there are two eggs types — Inaugural Egg & ROM Egg and one steed type — Inaugural Steed

Giga Juice is a consumable subscription that unlocks premium perks: double the energy with a higher recharge rate, better loot quality, boosted output for ROM holders, and more efficient Traveling Merchant exchanges. It comes in 30, 90, and 180-day durations. Juiced players have a meaningful edge in competitive events and seasonal prize pools.

Gigabit is the primary ingame currency of Gigaverse. Players can purchase Gigabit at a fixed rate of $1 = 100 Gigabit. It is not a token with fluctuating value, as players can redeem it back to USDC anytime at a fixed rate.

Abstract XP is an incentive & engagement system from Abstract, the chain Gigaverse is deployed on.
XP can be earned in several ways on Abstract such as using apps, trading, minting, holding, etc.
The exact mechanism is not public and weightage-based allocations are dynamic each week.
Within Gigaverse, there are two main ways to earn Abstract XP
Active: Collect Abstract Stubs by playing the game, collecting items and selling them to the Travelling Merchant
Passive: Hold Gigaverse ROMs for Abstract XP. Generate even more Abstract Stubs by using Gigus Dust to upgrade your ROM levels.
The core loops are fun without the blockchain context yet the blockchain context (real ownership, real economy, real stakes) makes everything you do feel more consequential.
The Gigaverse team has shipped consistently, raised $2M to accelerate development, and built a community of over 100k+ followers across socials on a game that’s still in active growth.
Whether you’re a Web3 native looking for your next on-chain obsession or a gamer curious about what blockchain gaming actually feels like in 2026 — Gigaverse is the cleanest entry point in the space right now.
