But, the world was built with security in the minds of those who were doing the building. If we had to look around us in the environment, we will realized everything that lives around us and everything that we have in our possession all have some sort of security. The plants get their security from the sun that is during the summer when the sun is shining, the plants attracts light energy from the sun which then coverts that light energy into chemical energy. This is why the plants stays green, fresh, alive, and organic especially if it grows from the soil. The plants security is the light energy from the sun as well as the organic nature of the soil. The only way the plants loses its security is when there is a change of weather such as heavy snow, draught.

What about animals?, animals tend to have some sort of security which is staying in packs or groups while among itself as a form of protection from their enemies. Though you always have one different type of lion that rules the pack and has a special kind of security that other lions or lioness feel protected.

Machines such as desktops, laptops, autonomous vehicles, mobile phones, etcetera all have some sort of security in them such as firewall, anti-virus, end-point security, etcetera. Even though all these things do have some sort of security in place, it does not mean their security structure cannot be breached. Practically everything in our environment have security except human security.

According to the united nations trust fund for human security, it stated, “human security is an approach to assist Member States in identifying and addressing widespread and cross-cutting challenges to the survival, livelihood and dignity of their people.” It calls for “people-centered, comprehensive, context-specific and prevention-oriented responses that strengthen the protection and empowerment of all people”.

Based on the above definition of human security according to the united nations trust fund, I asked myself when did humanity lose security within herself and her nations?. Now I believe that anything that a human being want to achieve in their lives, they have to work to achieve with self such as security.

It is the same thing as love, one must love self first before he or she can apply that same love to another. Therefore, humanity must work on providing security within herself as well as her state of mind and being before applying that same security structure to another.

Unfortunately, we live an era where humanity has become so weak in securing herself and her nations to the point it has been passed on to those who were hired or employed to serve, protect humanity as well as those who had been placed to rule over humanity or a nation.

If I had to guess what percentage I would give human security since it had been passed to those in rulership and those who were sworn in to protect humanity, I would say less than 50%. This is a terribly low score because the world has become an unsafe place to live due to the fact there are humans in the world who are not secured in themselves so they tend to do harm unto those who are secure.

As I am writing this article on human security, I asked myself the second time with a thought in my mind saying, “how is the world built on capitalism, corporation, with all the money, gold, silver in the world those who were place on rulership are unable to provide nor implement human security for the people?”, the fact that 95% of the same deaf, ignorant, dumb, and blind people who have no knowledge of those in rulership cannot nor have been unable to do anything to those in rulership yet no security is provided nor implemented for the 95% except for those in rulership. This is mind blogging. It does not make sense.

Instead those who built the world on corporation and capitalism have security for themselves and those they hire to do certain types for work for them and on the 95% of the unknowledgeable people. And as a results, humanity feel unsafe plus humanity is aware the very core of human security has been breached on all levels. For Instance, biometrics, privacy, safety, identifications, documentations, monetary, etcetera. All these has/have been severely breached by those in rulership and by those they put to do certain types of work using their technology such as web 2.0.

It is the very reason why there is so much chaos and disorder in the world today and in some of those members’ states that is unable to identify and address widespread issues affecting the livelihood, survival, and dignity of humanity.

This is where web 3.0 comes into play and how it is important for humanity to utilize the web 3.0 technology to protect themselves and everything that humanity holds dear to their lives. Web 3.0 means decentralization where no entities, government, middleman, or a rogue individual would have no part or power in what humanity choose to do for themselves along with the information humanity has/have in their possession.

Although I will admit the web 3.0 technology is not 100% perfected but it is surely safe and can be trusted to secure, protect individuals and their lives. It is like a condom, it does not protect a woman from pregnancy 100% but it is safe to put it on and the likelihood for the woman to be pregnant is very slim unless it is mishandled.

Since the core of human security has/have been breached or mishandled for centuries, in this fast pace world along with the rise of emerging technology that comes with security and protection, I believe web 3.0 will solve the problems of human security if and only if humanity utilizes the decentralize blockchain technology.

Now the question is how can humanity utilize web 3.0 technology? what are the benefits of having web 3.0 as a security tool to safe guard humanity’s survival, livelihood, and dignity?. There is a saying that information is power which is true but I would like to add that implementing and executing the information is the actual power once we have done the proper reading and research to utilize web 3.0 technology.

In this article, I will note a few points on the importance of web 3.0 in human security based on the above questions as well as it’s huge benefits.

• Let’s think of web 3.0 technology like a bank account. Opening a bank account is very easy. One has to fill out some basic information about themselves including their identities such as KYC(Know your customer) and at the end of the questions the customer would be asked to deposit some funds in his/her account to keep it active. It is really a very simple process but the bad thing is your account is not secure because the same bank has access to your account which is a complete breach of privacy and security.

• But web 3.0 technology such as metamask, womback, coinbase wallet, brave wallet, gemini wallet, etcetera one can open account with any of the above web 3.0 technology, fill out some basic information about themselves, the customers would create a password for their account(8 characters minimum), and a secret recovery phrase would be provided to the customers by the same technology that only the customers will have access to their account. Finally, customers can add funds into their account by transferring from their bank account to their web 3.0 wallet using crypto or credit/debit card.

• We 3.0 is a decentralize blockchain technology which means that humanity is the owner/bearer of the account they create using the technology not the bank nor middleman nor an entity but the customers. Though, humanity have to be extremely careful not to lose their secret recovery phrases or secret keys(private key) otherwise they will be locked out of their accounts forever if that happens especially not giving your secret recovery phrases to absolutely no one but his/herself.
