"Exploration of aerospace textiles" published

A new book, “exploration of aerospace textiles”, sponsored by the “popular science creation project” of Hubei science and Technology Association and compiled by Xu Weilin, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and President of Wuhan Textile University, and his team, was officially published recently.

The book is written by Xu Weilin’s team. Its scientific research achievements are widely used in aerospace, national defense and military industry. The team has successively participated in the “chang’e-5” and “tianwen-1” missions, and developed the five-star red flag successfully launched on the lunar surface and the “high temperature resistant elastic sealing device of Mars landing Patrol”.

It is reported that the book specially explains textile fiber materials for aerospace and textile materials in different fields such as airship, aircraft and parachute. The relevant person in charge of the popularization Department of Hubei Association for science and technology said that the professional team of “sending textile technology into space” to tell the textile story in Aerospace will help people better understand this field.
