We successfully concluded the Private Testnet Phase in just two weeks, and are now moving to final preparations for the Public Testnet launch on September 19th.

We are happy to share with you the next important milestone toward Ithil’s Mainnet launch. As of Sunday September 4, 6pm UTC, Ithil’s Private Testnet Phase was successfully completed.
In just two weeks of testing with a relatively small yet highly representative sample size, we were able to collect sufficient feedback to move forward with preparations for the Public Testnet deployment. The team would like to give a huge “Thank you!” to all the testers that helped make this possible.
During the next 10 days, the team will continue to work hard on a number of key objectives. This will pave a smooth path forward for Ithil’s Public Testnet and beyond.
Processing feedback and implementing improvements.
Thanks to the quality of the feedback received, we were able to identify a number of improvements both on the technical side, as well as the user interface and user experience. We’re currently optimising the smart contracts and the frontend to make Ithil even faster and easier to use.
2. Rolling out the framework for integrating the community.
As web3 builders and believers, we understand the value of community and co-ownership. That is why we’re rolling out a structured program to onboard the most engaged and talented members of our community.
We’ve created a number of working groups open to anyone that proves their merit and mettle. We will provide more details on this initative as the rollout nears completion, so give us a follow to stay posted.

3. Preparing marketing and communication campaigns leading up to the Mainnet launch.
Ithil’s team is absolutely convinced that we are building a next-generation DeFi product that will be a game-changer for countless people. We know it, and we certaintly don’t want to keep it a secret from anyone. That’s why we’re doubling down on our efforts to spread the word about the DeFi Wizard.
4. Increasing positive-sum collaborations with DeFi builders.
Ithil recently received a grant by Balancer Labs to build a strategy for the Balancer / Aura ecosystem.
We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that this will be only the first of many more collaborations that push forward sustainable growth for trustworthy DeFi protocols. There are some live initiatives in the pipeline already, which we will share more about in due time.
