If you’ve made it to this corner of web3, chances are, you know what an airdrop is. But if not, here’s a quick rundown:
https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/airdrop-cryptocurrency.asp
Thanks to the power of FOMO, I went through over a dozen in-depth airdrop campaigns this past weekend - in this post, I’m going to share some info about which ones I think are most promising, as well as some underlying assets you can pick along the way.
I’m going to spell out the steps to completion with as little complexity as possible - and I’ll report back in on my own results!
This may not be for the faint of heart, despite my best efforts, some may still find these to be difficult.
There is no guarantee you’ll get anything - zero. None. I’ve picked out the ones I think possess the greatest chance of hitting, but the actual probabilities are, of course, unknown.
Tokens on brand new chains/L2s pose unique risks of loss. DYOR, and absolutely trulyNOT financial advice!- you should do all of your usual due diligence, if not more.
Protip: I really like Quick Intel for checking the safety of token projects:
My personal favorite token scanner by far, QuickIntel plays nice with 95% of the scans I’ve thrown at it. There’s even a native iOS app:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/quick-intel/id6454298521
It’s mostly free to use, with premium tiers available either by paying with fiat (via Stripe) or by holding $QKNTL on Arbitrum. Team is great, community is solid - I’m currently paying in fiat, but may shift years to hold the token depending upon the chart.

StarkNet
zkSync Era
Linea
Scroll
— I think these four have the greatest likelihood of users receiving actual meaningful airdrops.
JediSwap
SyncSwap
LayerSwap
Zerion (for zkSync, Linea, & Scroll - but, honestly, you should be using anyway lol)
Braavos (for StarkNet)
Glow (for Solana)
US users, you may encounter georestrictions - I’ve gone out of my way to exclude airdrops that require interaction with dApps that have more strictly enforced region blocking (Jito, Zeta Market) - but you’re welcome to explore those yourself.
If regional issues pop up while chasing these specific airdrops, I personally recommend (but also I don’t advocate breaking TOS 😉) ProtonVPN (free) set to Netherlands. please note that if you violate regional TOS terms, you’re doing so at your own risk!
(If Linea, Scroll, zkSync, etc., don’t pop up as network options for you, you can go to Chainlist and get the info needed to add any of them as custom networks — if you have questions about this [or anything else] put them in the chat!)

Source:

Download Braavos Wallet (there are others, Bravos seems easiest - linked above!)
Setup & deploy smart wallet inside of Braavos
Use LayerSwap (or others if you prefer) to bridge some ETH to StarkNet - make sure to specify your new Braavos address in the recipient field
I’d suggest at least $5-10 bridged, post fees. (So $5-10 landing in your wallet, minimum)
That’s transactions moreso than total transaction volume, but both matter.
Using JediSwap (JediSwap.xyz - check the URL!) - swap some of your bridged StarkNet ETH to a token of your choosing.
You can go to DEXTools, select StarkNet, and pick a token from there. My choice was $LORDS - your mileage may vary with that one! For the best results, consider picking a couple/few options.
Record your new Braavos Wallet address somewhere handy - I recommend making a little note of each of the wallet addresses (including your main wallet / Zerion in my case) - we will need this info later!
