Whats web 3? In laymans terms, it is a decentralixzed version of the internet we have today. Our internet of today is basically made up of a network of centralized content distributors that sell our data, and determin how we get to interact with the other consumers on their platfoms.
Web3 has the potential to change that with the blockchain technology it is made of. In theroy blockchain creats an actul interconnected web that has no single point of failure. What this means is that the information that is accessble on the blockchain can not be made inaccessible because one person or company forgot to pay the eletricity bill or dedcided you no longer deserve access to it. Web 3 is made up of a growing number of dapps or decentralized applications. These applications facilitate everything from finance to enertainment, and the difference between finance is becoming more ambiguos everyday.
