ELIZABETH ARRESTS
23 October: U.N. aid worker Elizabeth Arras was detained in Gaza, her husband tells DW.
During the conflict with Israel, the security situation in Gaza was tense, and so she was in Egypt until August 3rd.
The six-hour-long flight to Cairo was stressful and frightening, Akram told DW.
She was concerned about security and how the political situation had changed in Gaza and Egypt, but made it back to her husband in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Sunday.
She hasn't yet returned to Gaza, however.
Her husband, who wished not to be named for fear of reprisals, said his wife had fallen ill on Saturday.
