HashGuild’s founders @dan_the_proto and @hbar_panda entered the Hedera NFT ecosystem in January 2022, after a DAO-like voting brought our NFT project @guiltypandagang to Hedera.
We quickly realized that the complete NFT ecosystem on Hedera was far away from what we have prior experienced on Ethereum.
There was no launchpad, no marketplace, no staking…Xact wallet was available and Hashpack wallet the next big thing.
As ‘serial’ entrepreneurs (led a gaming & hr startup + an MVP development agency), we directly saw the opportunity to build user-centric, directly to NFT collectors needs.
That’s how HashGuild got initiated.
Our ambitions haven’t changed so far.
We are going to provide critical infrastructure for our amazing Hedera NFT community.
The vision of providing a uniquely aligning ecosystem from primary-, over secondary-market, over staking solutions to other NFT related features and software, is still our primary goal.
Moreover, establishing an ecosystem that will be superior to any other NFT ecosystem on any other network out there - in terms of easiness-to-access, easiness-to-use & the interlinkage between different stakeholder (creator, collector, communities) services.
BUT, the way we are executing it, has changed slightly.
Considering such a complex ecosystem, we have identified a way, that allows us to create a user experience that is beyond compare.
Built on Hedera NFT creators’, collectors’, communities’ respective needs.Incorporating all stages such as minting, trading & staking.
Main question that has had to be answered: How to make most out of any interaction in HashGuild’s ecosystem?
The answer to the above raised question is simple:
An underlying reward system that serves the two NFT stakeholder groups, creators & collectors, throughout the different NFT ecosystem stages (minting, trading, staking).
With this unique rewarding system, HashGuild 2.0 sets completely new standards on what NFT marketplaces are capable of.
We have seen from other networks that Utility tokens & DAOs are used to provide a differentiator and serve with the ‘typical’ web3 owner power, but HashGuild’s rewarding system is going far beyond that.
Our rewarding system is based on a two-sided point system, meaning, collectors earn ‘collector points’ & creators earn ‘community points’ through each of their respective interactions within HashGuild’s ecosystem.
‘Collector points’ can be exchanged for collector related benefits/rewards. ’Community points’ can be exchanged for creator / collection / community related benefits/rewards. ’Collector points’ can be also exchanged into ‘Community points’ and vice-versa.

One of NFTs creator’s biggest challenges is, to create a long-lasting and interactive community that believes and further promotes its underlying long-term utility.All the way up to building the next blue-chip project.
HashGuild’s rewarding system is empowering creators’ and communities’chances to do so.
As stated in the below displayed visual, there are different strategies and opportunities for creators & collections to earn ‘community points’. Those points will be exchanged for added services, fee reductions or direct utility enhancements for the community of the respective creator.
Not only the collection has the power to benefit from the resulting rewards.Those community challenges provided by HashGuild, can be seen & used as community interaction challenges and further strengthen the relationship between creators & their communities.
As much as NFT collectors love the art of a NFT collection, it is still & will always be, a financial investment, intentionally meant to create a lucrative return of invest, either through selling it at a later stage or through the underlying utility (e.g. access to tools & games, airdrops) or both ;).
HashGuild’s rewarding system is enhancing collector’s chances to do so.
As stated in the below displayed visual, through different interaction types (trading, voting, challenges, used services, etc.) collectors earn ‘collector points’, that can be exchanged for certain rewards/benefits that are directly correlated to the main pain points of each collector.
With those earned ‘collector points’, collectors can either improve their individual NFT ‘life’ or can help improve the chances for a specific collection/ community to succeed by donating/converting collector points into community points.In both ways, it will serve the NFT collector’s needs.
The actively owned ‘collector points’ can be exchanged for different utilities, as already mentioned.
But you only earn points, for being active and winning/attending challenges.
HashGuild’s Genesis Pass is actually empowering collectors possibilities to earn points as well as special interaction & features passively, by holding & staking the Genesis Pass.
As illustrated above, the Genesis Pass allows earning added and improved rewards, partly, in a passive way.
There will only be 1000 Genesis Passes available and all of them only ‘mintable’ for the exchange of collector points:

Thus,the earlier you join & earn collector points, the easier you acquire the Genesis Pass.

HashGuild 2.0 is going public throughout invite-only gated access.
Collectors who want to experience the new HashGuild marketplace and its underlying rewarding system are only able to enter through the following events:
They get invited by existing HashGuild 2.0 users
They were HashGuild 1.0 users and attend a special Event (24 hour invite challenge - tbd)
They get invited by HashGuilds Special Community Event (from 16th June until 20th June)
HashGuild 2.0 major improvements are not limited to the rewarding system!
HashGuild’s marketplace will have three major features.
HashGuild 2.0 allows for direct/automated transactions when buying an NFT. HashGuild 2.0 allows for direct/automated transactions when bidding/when winning the bid on an NFT.
HashGuild, in the beginning, will use the same approach as other existing marketplaces on Hedera, in terms of how transactions are technically performed.That means, that an escrow model is used:When an NFT is listed, it will be escrowed by HashGuild as a trusted third party.On purchase of a user, it will be send to the purchaser and HBAR will be transferred to the seller.
This will change by the end of June / beginning of July,with a smart contract coming into play - enabling trustless and fully decentralized trading.
HashGuild 2.0 will have an added forum where all collectors can:
Vote on specific feature related updates and improvements
Attend specific community challenges
Contribute to the overall ecosystem with ideas & reportings
As already deeply described in the sections above, this rewarding forum will be used to:
Enter exclusive Whitelist spots & raffles
Display the total points you as collectors & creators have owned
Display open quests
Earn HashGuild Trading Pass
Convert collector points into crommunity points & vice-versa
Donate points to collections / distribute points to community
Display the total HashGuild Tokens you have earned
To further strengthen NFT creators & collectors opportunities to create and benefit from HashGuild’s utility & rewarding system, we decided to launch our own HashGuild token ($HAGU -maybe) by the end of Q4 in 2022.
This utility token will expand HashGuild’s rewarding system and allow for more flexibility to add value and tools to HashGuild’s ecosystem.
A separate Token design report will be launched by the end of June, when everything is finally set up.
IMPORTANT:
From July onwards, there will be a fixed monthly Token Supply that will be distributed between the collectors & creators depending on the amount of earned points.
With the upcoming final Token Design, we are going to launch & reveal the Pre-Sale Token Distribution, that is directly correlated to the amount of points earned in the monthly timeframe.
