Gnoland is a new blockchain in the Cosmos ecosystem. Its goal is to optimize the consensus process between verifiers and the integrity of the smart contract language. Gnoland will be a very valuable addition to the Cosmos ecosystem, providing smart contract functionality by merging the go-based smart contract language gnolang.
Current blockchain development environments often use languages such as Solidity, rust, and although both are excellent languages, Gnolang inherits golang's faster compilation speed, cleaner syntax and resource efficient concurrency.
Blockchains today are almost always single-threaded, which means that processing multiple transactions at the same time is going to be problematic. Although Solana is an exception, as it implements concurrent processes through multiple threads, it is often down. This suggests that multi-threading may not be the ideal solution for dapp to achieve concurrency. Gnoland offers the most viable solution, integrating Goroutines by supporting Golang as a smart contract language
The project will use a dual token model
One for governance and pledge The other is an expense token
Jae believes that a dual token model using an inflation-fixed fee token has the following advantages over a single token model.
-1. Most end-users are ignorant of the technology, which means they do not know which validators to support and how to evaluate governance options. The dual token model mitigates operational risk by shifting governance responsibility from users to nodes, validators and network stakeholders who are knowledgeable about the blockchain
-2. The key to governance tokens is to be pledged to the network in order to maintain blockchain security. The problem with a single token is that the more attractive the network is, the more tokens are used as a gas fee rather than being pledged, which leads to a reduction in network security
-Users can store tokens in their wallets for future use without worrying about devaluation
