Self-care

Full turbo self-care and let time orchestrates the rest because it's something I can't control (pretty philosophical, lmeow).

“A healthy diet, strength training, daily walks in the sunshine, 7+ hours of sleep/night, and abstinence from substances is always your first line of defense against anxiety and depression.”

It’s not that I have depression or anxiety, but if you achieve what is written above in a deliberate manner, you certainly will unlock a new level of yourself. It’s like you have evolve from a Charmander to Chameleon (if you play Pokémon, lmeow).

I can list you hundred of reasons why you should workout but it’s not worth. I think it comes from self-care. Self-care comes from many ways I may say. There are things like taking care of your face, eating healthy, a little bit of workout activity, reading books, and doing the things you like. The list goes on but it will have to start from yourself. Some found it at early age and some pretty late. Instead of being late to the party, buckle up but you will have to find a way of yourself to enjoy the process while trying to achieve full self-care.

I remember I got rinsed so hard, and, yes I go down and get myself sulk in the rain happily because I know for sure it’s impermanence. I didn’t resist the flow to hell of myself and I found a way to enjoy it along day and it’s probably I know what will happen too soon. I couldn’t sleep for like a month and had to work. I remember waking up everyday like a zombie, lmeow.

Since that event, it has changed me and I have speed up the game rapidly fast than the entire species evolution. I was kind of forgetting to bet on myself, and, shhh is okeh for it. Later, I bought a whiteboard and write things down and say I will get it done by Q(X) three months time gap. I know what stopped me and it’s never stopping me again.

To be honest, everyday I would wake up and apply gel eye mask for about five minutes while making my protein shake. Later, I would go shower and use a decent body lotion and face foam. With sunscreen and moisturizer, I know that will be enough. I do it daily and I never miss it for a single day. In the evening, I would cook myself a high food protein meal (keto meal with no carbs) or I go out drinking. It’s never a problem for me because I remember one things from the Michael Pollen, and he said “A happy brain is a flexible brain”.

Take care of yourself and try to understand yourself as much as you can because life is a short trip and you gotta make it a meaningful one for yourself while bringing impacts to others as well.

Also, be mindful of the sandcastle you are building because it can get wiped out easily with just big wave.

I didn’t stop journaling but I just move in to private board so I can focus on the flow.
