When my son was young, he always looked forward to Sunday because he didn't like going to kindergarten. Because Sunday is red on the calendar, my son calls it "red day". Every Sunday night when he went to bed, he would mutter to himself: "Alas, the red days are over again, and the dark days are here again." Go through the dark days first. Everyone is the same. Now that he is an adult, he is so busy with his work that all the days are dark, and sometimes he can't even take a legal holiday, and the red turns to black, but I can't hear him complaining anymore. Perhaps, when a child's expectation is transformed into an adult's expectation, a lot of pure happiness is naturally unloaded. In fact, outside the calendar, each of us has our own red days and black days, or warm days and cold days. Inadvertently, we will quietly flip through our own calendar and enjoy our good days. The colors of some days are dyed by ourselves, the colors of some days are given by life, and some are even arranged by us deliberately. Of course, the vast majority of the days are days without color, just plain. I remember that when I first became an editor, I was very serious and was very responsible for the manuscripts submitted by each author, so I often struggled and couldn’t bear to reject the manuscript, especially the familiar authors, the rejection made me feel uncomfortable. Later, I specially chose a clear day to do this unpleasant thing, and wrote rejection letters one after another, sincerely and apologetically. Retired a few in one go, relieved. Such days are called "rejection days" by me.

Later, I got into the habit of picking a day to concentrate on some things that I have to do but don't want to do. For example, picking a good weather day to patiently clean up the magazines that I have published over the years, and store them in categories, this is my grooming day; another example is to organize photos on a depressed day, and see the happiness and satisfaction from the old photos, this is my grooming day. Another example is to gather the clothes to be ironed, put the ironing board in front of the TV, pick a good TV program and finish ironing in one go, this is my virtuous day; Time to deal with various affairs brought back, promised to send books to others, promised to help others read manuscripts, or other commitments, this is my official day. Including good deeds also requires determination. For example, when I see a collection of winter clothes or old books on the Internet to give to those who need it, I immediately copy the address and plan to do it, but I can't make up my mind to go through the wardrobe or bookcase. So set yourself a love day, put down everything you have, rummage through boxes to find things, pack them, and go to the post office (you can’t send such packages by express, usually in remote places). I often tell myself that this has to be done today. Right should be arranged by God. Such days, whether it is black or red, whether it is warm or cold, are very practical. Having said so much, it finally comes to today.
