At the same time, the Department will also strengthen the key river crossing bridges in the old urban area.
Ensure citizens’ travel and try to maintain it at night
It is reported that the maintenance and construction of municipal road facilities in Hefei this year mainly includes the first ring road and the Second Ring Road (including lower crossing and upper crossing bridge), Ma’anshan Road, Baohe Avenue, Tongling Road, Yuxi Road, Huizhou Avenue, Jinzhai Road, cooperative road, Changjiang West Road, Fuyang Road, Shanghai Road (including lower crossing and upper crossing bridge), Wangjiang East Road, etc.
The maintenance construction includes sidewalk and ancillary facilities, road foundation treatment, green belt sidestone construction, replacement of old cable lamps, detection and defect elimination of lighting facilities, expansion joint cleaning, water collection well cleaning, retaining wall cleaning, sound barrier cleaning, downpipe maintenance, etc. Considering the travel of citizens, the construction time will be divided into three time periods. Among them, the operation time of carriageway involved in the first ring road (including the first ring road) is from 22:30 at night to 6:00 the next morning; The operation time involving carriageway outside the first ring road is from 21:00 at night to 6:00 the next morning; Sidewalks and ancillary facilities shall be maintained during the day.
Several viaducts and overpasses will be maintained in sections
Due to long-term wind, sun and rain, coupled with the erosion of automobile exhaust, some diseases have also appeared on major viaducts in Hefei. To this end, Hefei Municipal Department has also launched the viaduct “night therapy” plan (maintenance is carried out in sections from 23:00 at night to 5:00 in the morning of the next day, and normal traffic is allowed in the rest of the time).
It is reported that the “night therapy” plan mainly includes Jinzhai Road viaduct, cooperative road viaduct, Yuxi Road viaduct, North South viaduct, Langxi road viaduct, Tongling Road viaduct, North Second Ring Road viaduct, Changjiang West Road viaduct, Fuyang North Road viaduct, Baohe Avenue viaduct, Huizhou Avenue viaduct, Fangxing Avenue viaduct, wulidun, Silihe, Jixian Road, Hehuai road and other overpasses.
A number of key river crossing bridges will be strengthened in the old urban area
In order to ensure the travel safety of citizens in the old urban area in the rainy season, Hefei Municipal Department will also establish a flood control “one bridge one plan” for a number of older river crossing bridges such as Wuhu Road Xiaosu bridge, Huaihe Road Bridge and Shouchun road bridge in the old urban area this year. For some bridges with weak bearing capacity, permanent reinforcement measures should be implemented.
According to the requirements, the municipal department will comprehensively investigate and find out the flood control situation, flood control water level, embankment elevation and wading situation of bridges on Nanfei River, Sili River and Banqiao River through bridge flood control risk analysis, analyze and identify the bridges that may have the risk of exceeding the standard of flood, and carry out the inspection of bearing models and related diseases of risk bridges. Among them, the Wuhu Road Xiaosu bridge built in 1965, the Huaihe Road bridge built in 1985, and the Shouchun road suspender arch bridge built in 1988 will focus on and take reinforcement measures because of their long construction years.
