The Pudgy Penguins Inner Igloo meetings are always fire, but today's took it to another level! Read below for a recap.
There is a discord channel called "Pudgy Penguin Traits" in the discord for community ideas for new traits. Link to the Pudgy Penguin Discord: https://discord.gg/pudgypenguins
@LucaNetz “This is the last couple of days before Pengu Season. November and December are going to be big months for us.”
Toys: Luca will share some updates on the final version of the toys in the discord. He will also share what the digital experience will look like. Stay tuned for the announcement of the release date.
Merchandise: The team will be releasing new merch that will be igloo themed.
We will see more 3D content from the team. @LucaNetz thinks the 3D Pengu version will make the vision clearer of the ability of these to be characters in Pixar or Disney-like stories. Moving forward, a huge emphasis is bringing moments to life so people can see the true potential of Pudgy Penguin story-telling because it reminds them of “Kung Fu Panda or Minions.” The first one is coming out in a couple of weeks.
Memes: The Pudgy Penguin meme-maker is out. An update will be coming out soon to eliminate some bugs. Best used on a desktop. https://meme.pudgypenguins.com
Instagram: Recently, an animated bearded Pengu has been featured. To give you a take on how smart the team is, they are doing some testing to see what performs best for both users & algorithms to maximize visibility. https://instagram.com/pudgypenguins/ We'll see a shift of Instagram posts to showing the main characters so people can start building an emotional attachment to those penguins.
Luca is still considering the process of determining the main characters (deadline in 4 weeks). If you have ideas, hit up the team.
@ActuallyAgents What should the team do with these main characters because they will become symbols like Mickey Mouse? Should the team buy them, have a stake in them, etc.? @LucaNetz is leaning toward IP licensing but has not decided yet. There may be a more equitable way.
Marketplace: Are there any plans to integrate @sudoswap and @blur_io into the Pudgy Marketplace? @0xLoMel (Lorenzo) said they are going to look into it. He also said some marketplace changes are coming up at the start of the new year.?
The Pudgy Penguin world is developed. Expect a presentation on the next call.
Cryptonaire brought up the possibility of starting a team-sponsored Sudo pool, and Luca said it’s on the agenda for the team to do.
